Hostages have either txt or used cell phones
Say the kidnappers/terrorists want to speak to PM Tony Martin.

They are now saying there are 13 people being held hostage & Sydney airspace is closed down.

also.....

UPDATE: The Opera House, which is not far from the Lindt Chocolate shop, has just been evacuated. Suspicious package found.

I guess when breaking news is reported they should not say a thing until it's all over with, to ensure it's all spelled out.

And during the live broadcast here, I have heard them state, uncomfirmed, potentially a terrorist act. Only when the flag and the appearance of one of the suspects was shown, have they moved onto claiming it is, and even then, it could be a lone wolf act, or part of a thing.

Just a little perplexed how it's something the MSM are once again getting wrong.. but as usual..
