I agree with everything that everyone has expressed.
Except the ones I didn't agree with.


But, ATS, please give us readable emoticons...I've requested this before, but only got these unreadable ones in exchange for even more unreadable ones. Plus they're ugly.

Oh and, please provide one for sarcasm...you know, 'tongue in cheek'.

They're the worst of any forum I use online and it just needs to stop
This is probably the 20th thread about this though and nothing has changed.
I use a small site that has nowhere near the number of members that ATS has and their emoticons are extensive.
Remember when BTS had a whole load that ATS didn't have? And you could copy and past them over?

I forget his exact explanation but he implied the old ones used too much bandwidth or resources or something like that, which didn't make much sense to me. Or maybe I missed his point.

Anyway, I saved these so I can still use the old ones, anybody else can click "quote" on this post and copy them and use them too, but not many people do:

They are much better than the current emoticons...I haven't seen anybody disagree with that.

Were they always gray? For some reason I thought most of them were yellow.
My memory is fuzzy at best so don't mind me.

i just look for that old emoticon thread and pick one from the 50+ emotes available there.

the standard smileys kinda feel to me like a lazy alternative to all the sparklies we have buried in the forums. seriously, who can say no to a dancing strip of bacon?
