Engrossing footage of a cyclist being chased by a bear.
This is the stuff nightmares are made of

From the youtube page,

t was a usual day, I decided tо cycle in the forest and to record my walk on the Gopro. To my great surprise, I met a bear. Thank God, I left alive due to the shots that thundered not far from that location!

I was left wondering if he made it or not, my heart was actually beating fast by the end of it...

based on the number of pixels i have seen in my time i must say it looks mighty fake.
and the conveniently placed branch in the middle of the road also felt kinda off, even the way he gets off his bike looks too seamless

If you pause and look at the bear, it's plainly edited in.

Fake. Look how big the bear appears to be when he looks back. It fills that trail side to side and looks about 8 ft tall, while on all fours. Also, that forest looks pretty clear, not a lot of brush. Why didn't he see a bear sitting right beside the trail?

Hmmmm A bit dubious about this.
If real... I would be repeating "please don't get a flat, please don't get a flat" LOL
Also why not just hop over the branch? Any serious mountain biker/trail rider could have got over that.
The bear has an odd look about it too

When I saw the bear it made me think of the found footage movies "VHS"
I think this clip is one story that didn't make the cut... if it's real, then damn... that is one scary ride.

I'm very sure that this is CGI, it's good though, but not good enough to fool me!

I'm also pretty sure you couldn't outrun a bear on a pushbike either!

PSh gimme 18 gears and il get away from any bear.

This video... Def fake.

Reason one... Big ole grizlies definitelty can run at 30 miles an hour.... But for like 60 feet. There like a football lineman. That got explosive power but they can't keep it up over a half mile.

Reason 2... Absolutely no reason to get off his bike and hide behind a miniscule tree. It's seamless to plant a foot and hop over a log. If you ride single or 2 tracks you are good at getting over logs.

Reason 3... If I'm a massive angry bear.. The guy sweating and breathing hard behind the miniscule tree isn't going to be able to hide..

Whoever made it did a good job.

And ps. The stability in the video comes from the go pros Ability to film in a larger the. 1080 frame. This allows you to stabilize with a 1080 frame and shed the outer edges as the shakes happen. It's the go pros secret.

I agree its fake, but in my defence i only watched it once this morning first thing and the eye's were still waking up.
It looked good and i thought the ATS crowd would like to see this.

Anyhow its still a decent bit of (fake) film, had me going when i first seen it

I'm always looking for a fake, but this looks real. I just don't think the bear was that serious, otherwise, as others have suggested, the bear would have caught the biker easily.

The bear has no motion blur. It's a hoax
