But, to get back to the title of the thread, where's the evidence and/or proof that the crowds of protestors were shills? Just curious.

Well they may believe that but I believe out of all the protesters there was probably only 4 or 5 provocateurs hired just to instigate violence or destruction.

Protests are by nature peaceful, then you get people smashing a Starbucks and wonder do they have the guts, do they think they're being anonymous or are they just possessing a license to smash?

so the docs released from the jury was 5000 pages long and they done all that in seventy hrs. and found no reason in all that to return a true bill. they were processing over a page per minute of information and found nothing that warranted a true bill. so at least some part of this was scripted.

All this started because a police officer shot and killed an unarmed civilian?

Was the police officer or witnesses interviewed? Why did he shoot the civilian? Was it justified?

When those questions are blatantly ignored by the police department and instead they roll-out thugs and lock-down the town, the ensuing violence is inevitable and anyone who can't see that needs to be drug-tested.

The violent looting and destruction of the towns property by certain individuals may have been avoidable if the statutory authorities acknowledged and observed due process in examining the initial incident.

Any consequential effect resultant from that initial incident is primarily the fault of the police department and to a lesser extent that percentage of civilians carrying out the looting / property damage.

Oh, and the simmering racial tension even since before 1992 has not helped this particular situation either BUT if you make your bed then you can bloody well lie in it.

I wouldn’t say the majority of people were paid shills. Maybe just a couple to get the crowd pumped up.

You got to realize that the majority of the people out protesting and causing havoc are ignorant and proud of it. Knowledge is not power to these people. Guns and numbers are there power. These people are raised in low income highly volatile places. It takes very little to set them off and get them to destroy themselves and that the way the people in power like it. Keep them dumb keep the poor and keep them pissed off. People are much easier to manipulate that way.

This is how it's done. Get a few to yell and start the chants, or start getting in the cop's faces. Some to throw rocks or bricks or start a fire. It doesn't take a lot to get a few doing the same thing, which leads to mob mentality. Numbers are strength, so they utilize psychology.

Im white and I think police are indoctrinated to be aggressive and over reaching. I do think black young men are targeted by police and profiled. That's stat one, IMHO it has a burdon attached, but the police officer has no regrets, at least I think that's what he said..maybe I'm wrong. Stat 2, the law now agrees with with him so there is no need to have regrets anyway, he killed a baddie with superior force, his gun..well he must have been a baddie or something armed with Cigarillos, that the law agrees with, not that officer Wilson knew that the guy was a robber..or did he?
