Now, I'm a hypocrite. I admit it. I've gone on many an anti-police tirade about how they're all jackbooted thugs.

But today, I was obligated to call the police. A group of hooligans, driving around in an SUV, holding up a sign that says something akin to "**** You", and yelling slurs out the window.

There were four of them, all caucasian youths with too much money and not enough sense.

What's wrong with people? Get a life.

See that I agree on. But people who call the police because a neighbor is parking a car too close to the curb or the like get on my nerves. Also, the thing is TPTB allow crimes to continue to justify the police force. Crazy but despite their oppression, they are needed in some basic form.

Probably the only comment ive seen you make on here that isn't anti-cop man. My eyes bugged out a little bit lol. Something like that, that's a call for service I'd be all too happy to answer

Yeah, I know, I'm fairly biased against the police. But there are some good ones in my town.

Those immature fools needed to learn that money and friends don't mean you can act like a bunch of jackasses. They were yelling it at kids, pedestrians, even at moving cars.

They need to have someone talk to them in a serious manner. Sometimes, they'll only listen to a man with a gun and a badge.

Still, when those lawmen stop serving the People, and instead serve the elite, that's when things go wrong.

But this time, it was a good thing. This time.

I can't say for certain they had money but what they were doing sounded like it was wrong. I live in a small town with only two constables. So they're my neighbors, they're nice guys. Once you reach out to the more developed areas the police get nastier and nastier on average. Perhaps the people they deal with, the things they're told to look out for I don't know but they have a lot of attitude.

Not all of them are bad people but sometimes you can't help but think it's guilt by association, or guilt by badge alone lol.

Those low-lifes? Youre seeing that its their lives that they understand, and they have no more idea of why you are yelling "Get a life!"...to them for....as to them...thats a sadly stupid thing meaning nothing....to say.

To them? You n me are the dumb-asses.*

*PS Im in the Detroit area and nonsense crime is everywhere, especially the last few holiday and pre-holiday season days...murders, home invasions, smash and grabs of ATMs....Today, Dearborn Police shot a killed a murderer that beat a woman to death...just a few hours ago.

Having dealt with more than one like that, unfortunately I have to say that sometimes somebody just needs a good butt whippin'. They probably listened, were polite, and then laughed as soon as they were sent on their way. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think so

1. They were yelling, not hurting

2. Signs Don't hurt people.

3. You KNOW they have too much money...how?

4. You felt it necessary to point out "Caucasian?

5. You felt obligated...How?

For this you call the cops?

What's wrong with people? Get a life.

Star.

I disagree with what they were doing but being white and driving an SUV doesn't automatically mean they have money. I agree with your points. Personally I'd feel offended but I thought we had freedom of speech?

Thanks for that.

Refreshing to see a fair rebuttal.

Star as well.

I agree with that statement HERE Where YeahKeepWatchingMe said about Freedom of Speech. Let em' yell!!! Words like whatever was said, are harmless, to Me, and Probably most Other rational People. (Usually?)
I bet it was kinda frustrating, intense, and made You trip out a little. That was probably 'Their' main intension!
Not so sure I would have called the Cops though......
I mainly don't trust them, or their actions. Yes some Cops are OK, but some have the feelings of superiority Just because they have that Badge! I usually just try to stay away from them in whatever manner necessary for the time(s) I come across them......

Later, Syx.

It looks like We walk on the same path here. I agree with You and KeepWatchingMe about wanting to invoke the Freedom Of Speech section that our dear 'Leaders' wrote into the Bill of Rights!!
( I believe that is where that resides? AnyOne Please Correct Me if I am Wrong with That!?)

Thumbs
Up To You!

It is. And the first right listed (along with religion, etc). But there are limitations applied to it by the Supreme Court

In a normal area, that is not Ferguson. Whites are more often the looters and troublemakers. Just my observation from work. But looking at Ferguson, it seems to be changing those numbers.

Either, or, you have no one to blame but the parents for these teenagers. Simple as that.

It is the parents fault for not teaching them right from wrong.Making them into the rebels that they are.

Don't give me that liberal crap. The police in general are fascists, yes, but sometimes, psycho-punks need to meet jack-boot cops in a battle royale.

I blame the parents but they're not the sole culprits in this case. Society at large, the police, the media. It's all so overblown and distorted out of proportion.

It takes a village to whoop a child. Punks like these ought to act like mature human beings.

He was a punk and he should've acted like a mature individual but I disagree with him dying. I blame the cops too but this wouldn't have happened if Mike Brown didn't act the way he did. Something obviously precipitated the outcome and I doubt it was simply a matter of evil cop v good citizen.

This is NOT at ALL related to Mike Brown. What does a group of four caucasians shouting expletives and racial slurs at someone have to do with Ferguson?

I'm White, same color as them. This was no protest. This was just punks. God Bless Michael Brown, and my condolences go out to his family.

May the police and the community reach some level of civil integration.
