If this was me or you were looking at years in prison after an incredibly lengthy court process that will destroy you in the process. Then afterwords a lifetime of criminal background checks, ineligible for any loans, loss of voting rights, and just about everything.

Do not even question their authority, complete obedience or you will be assaulted and or killed at the discretion of the officer, not the courts, the officer.

Officer George Gothner has been given only 10 hours of “suspension” after being caught on video tape slamming a woman’s face into his patrol car.

Heres your pat on the bottom, enjoy a day off sir, commendable effort! NOT!

This is public disrespect for any and all citizens, you must obey! You must obey! Obey or die!

That's the root of it. They're above the laws they enforce. You're right, an average citizen did this they'd be in serious trouble.

A police officer? "Tone it down next time Hank. Or at least make sure there's no sources of revenue hanging around with a camera.."

I went through a horrible offense with a young and overtly aggressive officer once, I am grateful that backup arrived and I was taken into custody by a kinder member of the force who understood I was simply confused and not intending to be non-compliant.

Not all officers of the law are like this.

Please stop making brash over-generalizations. I understand when one oversteps the boundaries of good form it is important to share the transgressions with others, but making every officer out to be a cruel tyrant is misleading.

The guy was heavy handed...

But, it all looked pretty normal to me.

Some Cops don't take any crap at all.

We just met one.

In California she would of got a couple break checks when a dog ran out in front of the Car.

At the beginning you can hear an automated voice saying "warning warning it's the wife"
What the hell was that?

Is that his personal cell phone ringing?

Hmmm... no its a culture issue.

Always watching police officers zipping around speeding, driving crazy hiding trying to catch people.

Its part of the system. Lie cheat and steal to win, to increase the budget, to climb the ranks, anything goes.

Oh and from my perspective, it looks like a lot of them are on steroids. Trust me i know what it looks like when someones fighting on steroids. Its different.

Problem here is we have out of control, violent, power mad cops, but nobody has figured out how to profit off of that, so far you can only make money when making speeches about racism and asking for donations.

Irresponsible journalists profit off race baiting, hatred, and fear.

Charlatan preachers and false profits co-opt the stories of police corruption and violence and spin them into tales calculated to benefit their politics and pocket books.

Internet and youtube commentators do the same.

Stop stealing the truth and maybe then we can solve our out of control cop problem.

The system goes so easy on them worldwide. Is it just a coincidence?
Maybe it's because they're needed by those in power to protect them from the masses.
So they don't hesitate to put them through psychological and temper tests before they hire them, they actually want them to play the ''bully'' role on us! We are fooled to think this is not part of their job... too many coincidences

Good grief. I'm scared to so much as speed these days.

I would offer one minor correction:

Cop Slams Woman's Head Into Car and Then PUNCHES HER IN THE FACE!

Gun With a Badge and that is all he is.

Talk about ballsy bravado. Pulls her over directly infront of his own camera to beat on her. Then I guess remembers it and takes the rest off camera.

And sure not all police are brutal. I can go with that. But after this beating to only recieve a short suspension???? This is the war we face. Not just the individual police who brutalize, but more to the point, the system that continues to support them.

onequestion, do you have a vendetta against the cops or something?

dont need to answer if you dont want.

you posted a 9 minute video that showed like 3 seconds of action...
were we supposed to ooh and aaah?

yeah, she got rocked in the face...im with whyamihere. looked pretty damn normal...
he puts her to the hood to pat her down and cuff. before he could get to that she flipped out...
you cant do that buddy...thats not her questioning anything.
she was resisting...

let me guess. he could have done this or that instead right...
would pepper spray to the face be better than a punch?

the cops are not going to handle you with kid gloves if youre spazzing out like that..

what was the call about?

you do realize that they are in danger even when they are patting people down...cops get stuck with needles and #...
acting like that is only going to make it worse...
you are innocent till proven guilty.....why is it so hard to mellow out, take the pat down and exercise your right not to say a damn thing and lawyer up?

i mean that is everyones right....

that is a much better course of action than flipping out, getting a hook to the grill, plus an extra charge or too.
now her life is gonna be messed up...

you are one of the posters here that seems to lay zero blame on anyone but the cops.

if he would have rolled up, jumped out of the car and just went mike tyson on her out of the gate, that would be something...

she didnt want the pat down. she didnt want the arrest and she flipped..
so she got the pat down. got the arrest and got a hook to the mug.

oh well.

is the cop supposed to say "pretty please with a cherry on top can you please come here so i can pat you down?"
dont work that way.

strange you know. ive never been arrested. ive been stopped multiple times. been patted down and sat in the back of the car.
im always calm man...i wait it out and see what happens. ive done nothing so i go home.

clearly people like her dont think that way..

oh well.

this is over the line police brutality...imo, not what you posted

I keep saying it it's the culture, the corporate culture.

It's sneaky, full of lieing, not looking bad in front of their peers, quotas , lack of accountability.

The cop started punching this girl then quickly moved away from in front of his camera. That's why I think all police officers should wear always on body camera.

I also think that LEOs should be licensed by the state and subject to a review board. Civil misconduct or ethics violations could result in the loss of their license and they're no longer allowed to practice law enforcement in that state.

Does It matter?
In fact the OP was being light on the policeman, sure he pushed her face into the bonnet, but after that he was punching the lights out of her and all the time saying, "Stop resisting" so he, the policeman is a fecking comedian as well.

Boo-hoo....if people want to continuously be mouthy little wasters including females then expect to be silenced. If you want to open your big mouth to someone on the street or in a bar or even cop and expect people just to take it then grow up.

She looked a fired up loud mouthed idiot. And got a little tap on the head and everyone gets all upset.

Grow up people!
