What are you talking about? What behavior? I understand you may be feeling emotional, but this is just not a rational statement. It has been the step-father, Sharpton, and even the President who have made spurious statements. Please help me understand what you think the prosecutor did or said?

Beyond the timing and everything else, just watch the Ferguson, Missouri Grand Jury Decision Announcement. He smirked at times, and was the happiest prosecutor I've ever seen detailing how he lost his attempted indictment.

At the very least read the (rather flawed) transcript. Making an announcement like he did, in the manner he did, in front of upset people... that was astonishing (okay, technically they weren't actually standing in front of him but they were certainly listening). Criticizing witnesses, the internet, and the media; saying that only the witnesses who didn't talk to the media were the ones who were right... it was not the way to approach things at all.

I'm not the only one who took it this way, either. You can surely find far more critiques of him than the one below.
Ferguson Prosecutor's Idiot Speech Blames Everyone But Darren Wilson

ed: Ah, you've added a bit more.

edit: you know what's really irresponsible and downright despicable, the New York Times published the home address of Darren Wilson. What say you to that? Think that is responsible?

It's a false equivalence to relate the two, and why am I supposed to defend the NYT?

Ferguson needs a curfew. It's beyond ridiculous at this point. They are even being hostile to the reporters.

The lieutenant gov just said on the news that he wonders if the admin and DOJ "leaned on the governor" to keep the Guard out last night.

hmmmm

Of course.

It's not about saving face now. Real colors start to bleed.

I suppose if I were ignorant and ill informed; I'd be bitter too.

If you are referring to the reporters that were just accosted on CNN, that reporter is back on right now telling viewers that those few individuals do not represent the majority of the protestors he's encountered.

No better way to undermine the message of the many than to portray them alongside the chaos of the few.

You should try to learn some facts before you make comments. Unless something has happened in the last half hour or so, no cop has killed a 5 year old with a toy gun. Not sure how you came up with that headline, as it's not even close to the age of anything that happened.

I'm glad your idea of justice is to make examples out of people to keep the rest in line. Because that's exactly what you said should've happened. Lock the cop up to keep others in line. Let's start throwing jaywalkers in jail to keep the rest in line. Let's start throwing speeders in jail to keep the rest in line.

People talk about a totalitarian state, or a police state, whatever. People think and say we live in a police state. That is EXACTLY what you're suggesting. THAT is a police state. Think people are oppressed now? Wait till people start being locked up purely to be "an example" to others. Ludicrous.

All opinion. Smirking? really? I must go back and watch again to see if I can see that. So you think the report was "flawed". Would you mind giving me a specific example of that? Please?

I wonder on what grounds?

Surely if we shouldn't declare all police bad because of the actions of a few they shouldn't declare all protestors bad because the actions of a few.
