Here is the good thing about these protest:
They are hitting on other social issues as well.. Not just about Michael Brown, but our government, the elite, and police violence.
This has brought out a well deserved protest against the American government in general from what I'm seeing in these streams.

Why are those kids there, what kind of parents bring their kids to this ?

they have made it perfectly clear that nothing short of throwing the officer in jail will satisfy them. Without even having seen all the evidence they have decided he is guilty, they don`t want justice they want a lynching.
a jury has seen all the evidence and based on the evidence they refuse to indict, due process has been done, the laws have been adhered to.
Their refusal to accept the results of due process is proof that they don`t respect the laws, they want anarchy and that makes them domestic terrorist and they should be treated as such.
I have no sympathy for them.

Just a note, news says the Natl Guard is there tonight. Why tonight and not last night is anyone's guess.
