Ferguson Grand Jury: No Indictment for Darren Wilson in Michael Brown Shooting

Major points from what the Police Chief has said so far -Jon Belmar, St Louis County Police Chief: (watching it live on CNN)

-This has been the most violent night since the protests began in August

-Atleast 12 buildings have been set on fire tonight

-He says he heard around 150 gunshots tonight

-A few officers were hit with glass bottles, rocks, etc... No serious injuries reported.

-A couple police cars have been looted/set on fire.

right vs left, black vs white.

We aren't winning, but somebody is.

Can't say I was much surprised to hear of the mischief and mayhem. The story about the FBI "discovering" plans for protests did give me quite a chuckle! Who would have guessed?!

I watch the live feeds.........It is a bunch of reporters and Wannabe hippy kids screaming about nothing. I am against the police state and police brutality but this is just plain stupid. I bet 90% do not even live in the city they are only there to trying to make a point. Sad part is the very thing they are against they help support.



Let's go around the country protesting against the police state and corporate anything and than cry out for things like communism...........Are they for real. If they wanted real change these kids should be crying out for the constitution to be followed again.

These people are hardly yelling at the police...Theres absolutely no reason for the police to be harassing these people. They gassed them twice for no reason, told them to go a certain direction..now threatening arrest to people on private property in the coffee shop..this is making me sick watching it.

Yeah it is personal. I've watched so many people get away with hateful and bigoted things in my life. I've also gotten attacked for speaking up against in numerous times. You could say I take being hated and watching others be hated a bit personally

In case you haven't noticed...everything you have experienced personally comes along with life.

To take something so personally leads me to believe that you have PERSONAL issues in which you need to deal with internally. If you wish to be a positive outlet for your beliefs and to stand against bigotry; start doing so.

You might be surprised the impact it has. Without ever having to be a "hypocrite".

It's a win win.

I'm not afraid of being perceived as ignorant. I'm one of the few on here that admits my own failings. You might want to talk to the hundreds upon hundreds of people who are equally or more ignorant than me and think they are 100% right.

Apparently it's fine to be anti minority but not anti majority. The fact keeps showing itself time and again.

I'm watching people loot this Ferguson Market on TV and many of them have masks on. These people brought masks with them to this gathering before even hearing a GJ decision. That's called conspiracy when you plot to commit a crime prior to doing it isn't it?

Unfortunately N St. Louis has had a reputation for decades. I lived in St. Louis most of my life. Sorry, it is what it is. East St. Louis across the river too. All of St. Louis in general has a high crime rate.

I'm guessing there are a lot of the same Occupy people involved. If they are whining about corporatism and want to abolish capitalism, it might be the same bunch. Courtesy Georgy Schwartz who hates America and wants to turn it into a socialist state.

Yep, people from other cities, and gangs. I remember in the 80's we had to vacate our work place because there was a threat coming from members of the Crips/Bloods and that was in S. St. Louis. Later on molotovs were being thrown around places of business on Manchester Rd.

I figured that the police officer wouldn't be convicted/indicted. And I knew if he would be innocent the city would start to meltdown.

People are still enraged about supposed "racism" and can't see the facts. That's what happens when everyone jumps to conclusions the day after it happens, and stick to the same bogus story even after evidence gradually gets released. Now the city is being torn apart by sheer ignorance and opportunists.

Makes me sick I live about an hour away from all of these heathens wrecking the place.
