If something happens as a result of the verdict, members assuming the worst about the people in Ferguson and beyond will go on and on about how they knew it would happen.

If nothing happens as a result of the verdict, members will just ignore it and brush it aside, just like with Benghazi.

Wait and watch with eyes open, judge not before anything happens.

Being found Not Guilty of a crime and Not Committing a Crime are actually legally the same thing.

.

ok chief...if you say so
i live in the real world though...i dont live in a court room.

thanks for not answering my questions though...that was awesome to respond to everything else but those questions...

i am still curious if one could call a person who admits to more than 15 counts of murder but never charged(deal struck) a criminal...
in the real world where we all live of course....

They're boarding up here in Clayton, the St. Louis County seat. It's about 20ish minutes from Ferguson. @mattdpearce

www.broadcastify.com... highway patrol link again for those that want it ,recent chatter seems to be mostly police officers checking in and stating they are all in their staging areas. from listening to the feed for the last hour if i had to Guess(meaning i have no confirmation of it yet) the call signs defender(1-8 if i remember correctly) are most likely armored vehicles and the patrol and other various designations like squad etc seem to refer to individual police units staging around the area

twitter.com... link to twitter comments are getting incresingly angry from fringe groups it seems

This is a tactical situation where Police are lying in wait.

The police might be good but they cannot hold us all hostage and if the police do start killing then you run the risk of an escalating situation that might explode across the country.

Revolution can move very fast once they get started

p.s I am very calm

I think this is where the divide runs deep -

hell even teachers and principals to get away with punishing black people more often and more harshly than whites...

This is the victim mentality when more often than not, blacks get into trouble more because their "culture" encourages them to be "thugs", hence more blacks in jail, being expelled etc. This is where we get into crime statistics etc, proving that blacks in the U.S. commit more crimes than any other race embracing a specific "culture" in the U.S. combined.

I think people are tired of the thinking that just because someone is a certain color, they should have a pass to commit crimes without consequences. I believe that type of thinking is rampant in the U.S. right now, and it's sooooo racist. "Liberals" in America are fanning racism back to the state it was in before the civil rights movement.

I still think it's being orchestrated as a distraction, in fact, I can't figure out why more people don't see it. You want a frustrated America? Keep claiming certain races deserve special treatment. I'm a white guy, I have a job, I'm nearly homeless, yet that somehow makes me privileged. The WHOLE country is screwed, not just blacks. If blacks want to stop hating whitey so much and realize we are all in the same boat in terms of financial disparity, then we might actually accomplish something.

In either case, the "thug" culture needs to be eradicated, not encouraged because the culture is not about race, it's about criminals crowding our prisons and a mentality that is destroying our country. Anyone can be a "thug" it just so happens that the black community has embraced it as their own, and will not by any means reject it any time soon.

Maybe a dark to daylight curfew for kids under the age of 18 should have been implemented. Things could go from good to bad really quick.

Hopefully parents will use good judgement here.

Personally, I think they will return a decision not to prosecute. I can't see how they can as it will undermine police work throughout the US. They can't give in to the protesters, as a decision to prosecute will leave the state open to a counter-prosecution by Wilson who will charge that he is being made a scapegoat to calm the situation down, and will call for a a further study.

Also, the fact that the decision has already been made, and they are now seeking a way to deliver it so as to cause as little protest as possible. Which is why it is taking a long time to announce. Watch for the police presence. Once everyone is home from work, they will announce it and the curfew to follow.

If it was a murder cut and dry, sure I would scream murder. However the case is that he went for the cops gun....if that were my kid I would be very upset, but I would be more upset had he gotten the gun and killed the cop.....then I would have failed as a parent AND an innocent person would have been killed due to my bad parenting.

The person who shot him to death said Brown went for his gun. Brown ran away from the car after getting struck by a bullet. The person who shot him to death would also you have you believe that, while he kept shooting at him, Brown turned around and moved aggressively towards him. After running away from getting shot. That make any sense to you?

In my opinion how? It was proven he had his hand on the police officers weapon while the officer was in the car....that happens how exactly?

Back this up.

Right...the whole argument that the officer, against all training, pulled the 6 foot however tall, pushing 250-300lb guy into his vehicle by the neck through the window and shot him.....that scenario?

And against all reason and logic, this barely-adult man ran away after getting shot and continuing to get shot at and turned to rush from dozens of feet away the person who shot and was shooting at him?

That makes more sense to you?

In case you didn't get the memo, we have an audio recording of Wilson shooting at Brown, which was verified by the service carrying it. It lasts less than 7 seconds. He fires 10 shots. Due to the brief time frame, one assumption is that the recording didn't pick up the first shots inside the vehicle or the recording started just after those, unless he just fired 10 shots in total. Wilson allegedly says he fired 4 shots after Brown turned around, which occur in the audio after a 3 second pause. Brown was struck once at the vehicle. Brown was struck a total of 6 times, last I was aware of. Seems like he might have been hit when he was running away after all, no?

He had a juvenile record confirmed but they would not release it to public...that and the video of him strong arm robbing a store minutes before his death....technically not on his record, but unless you think it was a friendly encounter that was mistaken for a robbery then he was a criminal in every sense of the word.

Cite this, because Ferguson police said the opposite, and attempts to find a criminal record also said the opposite.
Juvenile court: Michael Brown had no most-serious felony convictions or pending cases.

Since you've affirmed this twice, surely you can conjure up a link for us.

I think not indicted. I think this was the reason for the slow process and slow leak of information.

I think it was a bad tactic. They should have shortened the whole process and announced this months ago. A quick flash point and then peace and rebuilding the community. I think with this long process...the feelings have simmered and people are getting hotter. I could be wrong. However, they've had months to plan speeches, responses, preventative measure, community building measure and ...I think they wasted all that time. I hope I'm wrong.
