Yes because I clearly said all police are racist scum

Will you people pay attention to facts instead of twisting posts to fit your views?

language, semantics, mumbo jumbo

if you have committed a crime, you are a criminal....

all those offenses you mention would be tried in what??? oh yeah, criminal court......

Yeah, and which criminal court was Michael Brown tried in?

He wasn't? So... he isn't a criminal.

I was thinking that he had a criminal record with priors. Even if he did not the video tape proves he was a thief at the least.

lots of people dont go to court....does not mean they are not a criminal.....

had he lived he would have gone to criminal court...not peaches and cream court...

i have question....

what do you call a person who commits a crime?

and another question

if a person commits a crime and does not get convicted, does that mean the crime did not happen?

there are a lot of women out there that are sexually assaulted(thats a crime) and the person who assaulted them never goes to court.....you saying that sexual assault(a crime) didnt happen???

This is simply a decision to see if he will be held over for criminal prosecution.

Same difference.

Then that cop still has the DOJ 'investigation'.

Then there will be a 'civil' trial.

ETA :

That cop has already been tried, and convicted in the kangaroo courts of public opinion.

Still innocent until proven guilty.

being found innocent in court and not committing a crime are 2 different things...
im sure you know this though....

lots of people are never convicted of crimes they committed...
lots of variables to account for

i have another example...
sammy gravano...john gotti's underboss...

admitted to more than 15 counts of murder(a crime) but the DA dropped the charges in exchange for his testimony against john gotti...
does that mean he was not a criminal? the murders happened...he admitted to them...never convicted though..never even charged

how that work?

I was thinking why it was taking so long for them to come up with a decision. I'm wondering if they want to release the decision on Thanksgiving Day. If you think about it, most people are celebrating at home with family, and the chances of getting a large group of protesters together on a holiday would be less likely.

It's all good just realize the enemies aren't other posters they're the ones spraying pepper spray LOL.

From what I'm reading the 5:30 pm was in Central Time, not Eastern Time, so I'm gathering still 7:30 pm.

You know what would be amazing?

If demonstrators everywhere just sat down where they are, in silent protest, once the verdict is announced. Prove the haters wrong, the government wrong and the police state wrong. Then, after a time, get up and go home but not spend one damn dime in Ferguson or St. Louis county unless absolutely necessary until business leaders remedy the situation. And they would, very quickly. Spending money -or not- is the only power citizens have these days.

Actually, you're wrong.

Being found Not Guilty of a crime and Not Committing a Crime are actually legally the same thing.

Crime and Criminal are legal definitions. They have definitions that have been agreed upon by The People and set into our laws. These are hard definitions. No amount of your insistence that you are correct is going to change those definitions. I'm sorry that you don't understand that, but I don't know how else to explain it to you, and I am done trying.

A lot bothers me about this case. I think the cop snapped. I don't know that for sure but it's what I feel. I think there's clearly a justice system that doesn't treat all equally. I think it's still too easy even in 2014 for cops, lawyers, judges, juries, hell even teachers and principals to get away with punishing black people more often and more harshly than whites... the thing is, you guys all cocksure Brown was a thug and the officer was justified, just as you always are in these circumstances, the instances of cop killings happening to white people is also on the rise. You all are literally lighting the fires under your own boiling pots of water.

Injustice to one is injustice to all. My everyday prayer is that we all finally realize we are on this planet together, there's authority and there's the people. Every time you demonize the people, you strengthen authority. Love one another or we don't stand a chance.

I agree with you wholeheartedly, and I really wish this would be case.

I sincerely hope I'm proven wrong, but I think it's going to get bad in the next few days.

If not, well then some of my faith in humanity will have been restored.

They're boarding up here in Clayton, the St. Louis County seat. It's about 20ish minutes from Ferguson. @mattdpearce
