I wasn't commenting on having cameras at all, I was just responding to someone who said that America sounds like a scary place to live (which it isn't).

I'm all for people wearing cameras to protect against LEO issues, as long as the footage that they get of random people out in public isn't misused. I'm not a fan of "big brother" cameras everywhere, watching my every move--just because those eyes may shift from public to private lenses doesn't make it feel like any less an intrusion of my privacy (even though I do subscribe to the reality that you have very limited expectations of privacy when out in public).
