Edit: I wanted to do a tutorial on soldering and intro to electronics but no place for it other than general.

The Pet Forum idea has been floated quite a few times, I don't think it would be the biggest forum, but I do think that it would be a great repository for people who have questions about health, behavior, training and general care for their pets.

It would also probably draw more members. And i often find a members personal experience more helpful than a item specific website. I use ATS as a search engine at times for the more odd subjects that cross my mind. Such as...why do goats climb trees?

I think that jude11 is also campaigning for a pet forum. I prefer the term companion animal over pet, but will be more than happy with a pet forum. Imagine a forum with no shills, trolls or ugly banter and lots of adorable pics . It would certainly contribute to a much happier non-violent world.

Yeah, this has been pushed for a while. I even don't necessarily think it needs to be just pets, could be an animals forum. Sure, there could be cute cat pictures, but also threads about some of the laws being passed regarding animal cruelty, animal die offs and even behavior issues. We actually do have a few animal professionals here, that have offered guidance.

If nothing else, it seems it could clean up a bit of the general chit chat forum.
