I swear, I don't whether to laugh or cry. China rubs our noses in our own stuff with impunity. As Obama visits China they haul out their versions of our hardware that everybody knows they stole from us. That is a clear slap in the face to the US, a not so subtle indication of how they operate and intend to continue operating. It's crazy, and is the media pouncing all over any of this? No, hardly a disapproving word from any source. --Of course, secretly, Obama is going to chide them about stealing our business and industrial secrets and inform them that they should not do that.

To make the Chinese not feel too crestfallen about being approached about that matter, Obama has pledged to cut our noxious emissions by 26-28 percent within the next 11 years while allowing the Chinese to wait until 2030 before they have to start even cutting their emissions. Basically, he is saying that we will hamstring our industries and even private citizens by increasing the costs of power while China and go full-steam ahead with its economic attack on the US if not the rest of world with its low labor costs and lack of substantial environmental concerns.

I just hope that the Chinese president provide Obama with a fresh back of cheap Chinese gum as a parting gift. Because I'll bet that after calling out the Chinese president over stealing our secrets Obama will offer the guy his last stick of gum.

America depends on china for all that yummy cheap labor, so you guys better not act like jerks around them, or the next overpriced piece of technology will be even more over priced.
china is basically a land of cheap labor slaves working to make those products we so love because they give us a false sense of status.

I will add to your list...also China has bought a vast amount of the U.S. debt; plus they export a mass amount of merchandise to the U.S.; plus they are buying up businesses and land in the U.S. too. Also...a lot of U.S. companies are outsourcing their product manufacturing...and having it done in China.

All of this just makes me wonder...who really rules who.

Im so sick of the US's foreign policy with CHina. All was good until NAFTA came along, and begun making it very easy for corporations to go over seas, not pay taxes, and still reap all the benefits as if they were still operating in the US. And Absolutley nothing will be done about this, because its too late. Now there are New trade agreements on the table as if we have not been raped and piliged enough. China has a very clear stance in my eyes, to see that the west falls, and falls flat on our faces.

Honestly what makes me wonder whether to laugh or cry is over people who become irate over such petty things. The US public is in no way prepared for big issues, when they can't even handle some Nicorette gum.

This reminds me of that mindblowing, harrowing, tan suit incident.

Speak for yourself, you cant be so narrow minded. IT doesnt come down to the US public, but the idiots who are in power, and although the majority of people dont care or arent bothered by whats happening with the US, many many intelligent people are willing to care and DO CARE. the only fools, are the ones re-voting these idiots into power. Ill give you that
Lets not forget that China is starting to have thier own problems arise and I think it will get worse, as there is an increasing difference between the Haves and the Have nots. Cheap labor will only go for so long

Please note that this web site, this thread, and these posters are part of the US public.

I've removed my post because it is unkind, and a few words from me isn't going to change the mindset of those with tunnel vision.

He may be able to chew gum and walk but he most certainly can't function when the teleprompter's turned off.

He should golf more often.
At least when he is doing that, he is only lying about his score.

You do realize that China is one of the biggest air polluters in the entire world. Their air is so bad, they have people dying from the air quality. Yet, the US is the one who has to cut back on emissions?

Only Obama who wears a Mao jacket would come up with that one!

It's not funny anymore, he really is following the Alinsky model (his hero) of destroy the country entirely to remake it after it is dead into a tightly controlled socialist regime.

This "treaty", which is illegal, because congress (according to US law) is supposed to ratify all treaties and the President can not legally make a unilateral treaty,
will be punitive to the US economy

while allowing the communist Chinese economy

to continue spewing enough garbage into the air

to single highhandedly bring global warming to the entire world
