I think this information should be brought to the Supreme Court. They need to change their opinion about this ACA. We all knew it was a tax to begin with and now the truth is out.

I am pretty sure that Chief Justice Roberts also knew that was a tax. The same Chief Justice that was siding with it being a tax until the night before the decision... when he had a change of heart/mind. I think the NSA was involved with him changing his mind, since they have access to every email, text message and phone call that he ever made.

I am excited to have my forced insurance requirement removed. I had to declare bankruptcy in order to "afford" insurance I have never used.

If the other 25,999,999 Americans want to keep their insurance they can "choose" to pay for it like services are meant to be "chosen".

God Bless,

There are some conspiracy theories on this one.

People pointed out that the minority opinion and the way it was written sounded more like the majority opinion. Another conspiracy theory had Roberts being blackmailed in order to change his position.

I take exception to the use of the term American voter. I think the term Democratic voter is more appropriate.

Democrats aren't Americans to you? So people have to be bootlickers of the wealthy to be Americans to you?

You are a smart individual so stop trying to act otherwise.

Democrats were elected and controlled both houses of Congress and the White House. The vote on Obamacare came down to party lines, with the Democrats having the numbers to pass the bill.

Obama signed it into law.

The Democrats went on the lie tour with false information.

The American people are not stupid. The Democrats who put the bill together and signed it into law coupled with the people who voted Democrats into office would be the ones to blame. Not all Americans were duped and many many fought to get it stopped.

The kicker was Pelosi telling people they have to pass the law before people can see whats in it.

Now we know why.

I have always thought that the NSA, CIA, FBI dirt digging for Obama had a great deal to do with his decision.

Everyone has secrets and dirty laundry, if not for themselves, then a loved one close to them. I have no doubt the Democratic machine, which is expert at dirt digging and making the dirt public was deeply involved in Roberts changing his mind at the last minute on Obamacare.

i was asking links to explain to me how in the hell this is anything even remotely resembling a better deal than we had before...because i'm genuinely interested in understanding the rationale used to come to such a conclusion...

the way i read it, and i think the way he meant it was more or less just him waning to break it down into specifics...

specifically speaking; the democrats who made it happen...instead of laying the blame on ALL american voters...it's intellectually dishonest...kinda like saying ALL kids are assholes, instead of just singling out the handful you had a bad experience with..

Better than bootlickers of the leeches. Ask not what your country can do for you...ask how much more it is going to give you for your vote.

I guess we should both check our numbers ...

Time - 20 Million get Healthcare Under Obamacare

About 20 million Americans have gained health insurance or enrolled in new insurance under the health care reform law, according to a new report.

The report from the Commonwealth Fund, published Wednesday in the New England Journal of Medicine, credits President Barack Obama’s health reform law with an estimated 20 million enrollments as of May 1. The report looks at both people who gained coverage through insurance marketplaces, and people who gained coverage due to provisions in the Affordable Care Act (such as those qualifying for Medicaid and those now covered through the Children’s Health Insurance Program).

The Commonwealth Fund

When the Affordable Care Act’s first open enrollment period closed on March 31, 8 million people had purchased coverage through the individual marketplaces—a number that exceeded expectations. But this much-anticipated enrollment figure does not tell the whole story. In a New England Journal of Medicine “Health Policy Report,” The Commonwealth Fund’s David Blumenthal, M.D., M.P.P., and Sara R. Collins, Ph.D., assess the ACA’s record to date and discuss enrollment not only through the marketplaces but also through the other critical vehicles used by the law to extend coverage.

The authors estimate that, overall, 20 million Americans have gained coverage as of May 1 under the ACA, with many of them previously uninsured. The CBO projects that the law will decrease the number of uninsured by 12 million this year and by 26 million by 2017. Early polls show that the proportion of U.S. adults lacking health insurance has dropped significantly since the third quarter of 2013.

So, 20 million covered. I did rely on my memory rather than check it. Thank you for keeping things factual.

But do you have any evidence for that? Any evidence that the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court was blackmailed?

It's fine to hypothesize, but having actual information, data, something to go on, seems to make a lot more sense.

Just to clarify, aside from the rhetoric, are you genuinely stating that you believe all Democrats are "leeches"?

And how is it better, in your opinion to be a bootlicker of the rich fatcats? Do you imagine it's a better grade of feces?

Of course there is no evidence.
Even if there was evidence of it... we would not see it in the MSM.

The story in the OP got no real coverage in the MSM. I guess it has too many facts and it came from the horses mouth.

Yeah, you're just repeating the standard Republican cant in the form of questions. Here's the answers.

How many times did Ambassador Stevens REFUSE additional security? The Hill - Ambassador Stevens Turned Down Extra Benghazi Security

Forces were not told to "stand down." Fox News Channel - No Benghazi Stand Down Orders were Given

If there were any proof and I mean ANY PROOF of criminal acts on the part of Hillary Clinton, do you really think that the Republican House would not have pressed charges long before now? Come on.

No, the Obama Administration just went after the criminals who actually did kill American citizens long after the Republicans lost any interest. Commandos Capture Benghazi Attacks Mastermind and Bring to Washington for Trial - Daily Mail

I highlighted some of the important words. I tried to use happy colors.

When we are talking about big numbers, words like hope and change would go right with those that you provided.... estimate, overall....
'Have gained coverage' does not mean that the person affected had no insurance before... it may just mean that the plan that they were forced to change to covered them for the 'pill' when they are a man.

Ah, so you're tag-teaming in then? Fair enough.

From the Forbes link: (Guesses highlighted in red, because there's nothing to be happy about.)

Combining all of this data: of the 8 million sign-ups on the exchange, we can only be confident that around 1.7 million are previously uninsured and enrolled. We can add another 865,000 or so for those purchasing coverage off the exchange, for a total of 2.6 million previously uninsured individual-market enrollees.

Yada yada hope and change yada "we can be only be confident" "can add" "might add" "could possibly guess if no one is paying attention."

So the number is somewhere between 8 and 20 some odd million. Care to weigh in on recent polls about how many Americans favor repealing the ACA?

Of course, I want to say that I'm EXCITED about the Republican repeal of coverage for 8, 20, 26 or however many MILLION people will have to go back to having no coverage.

Wonder how people and their families will feel about that?
