So today has been one of those days for me. I went to see my doctor for a normal scheduled appointment. After sitting in the lobby for an hour and a half, I went up to the front desk to inquire how much longer it would be, they said soon. Another 30 minutes passed, and I got so tired of waiting, I told them to refund my co-pay and cancel the appointment. I then lectured the front desk clerk to learn how to communicate to the patients and let them know how long the real wait time is. To not do so was not only unprofessional, but also rude. Then this afternoon, I had another appointment with an electrician company to come to my house and do some work, but guess what, the guy who showed up said his front desk told him to come out for a quote only, not an install. So I took my day off of work, for nothing. But I digress. After reading more and more blogs on this site about cops shooting defenseless animals and people, the congress unable to come up with any kind of decent legislative work, our white house being incompetent, I had an epiphany. The United States is not going to collapse because of an over aggressive military, or illuminati cult. It will collapse because our country has a majority of uneducated people (also known as stupid). With our rapid population growth, and cuts on education, I have come to realize that a majority of the population is uneducated. This therefore leads to a domino effect within society - i.e. corrupt politicians, corrupt police officers, bad teachers, and more importantly dumb voters that vote all of these other idiots into higher positions. Does anyone else feel this way? I know I have had a bad day, but I honestly feel as though we have caused our own demise by allowing the education system in this country to fail, and ensure a society run by adults with an IQ lower than that of a Russian 10 year old. I am truly scared for the future of this country, before you know it, we will have people who honestly feel it’s a great idea to water our lawns with Gatorade. Tell me how you feel.

The indoctrination.., I mean, educational system was purposely designed to do exactly what it's doing. In fact, it far surpassed its goals.

Welcome to Costco's, I love you!

You my friend are on to something here. It isn't a Conspiracy, everyone really is that incompetent.

That's my whole anti 9/11 false flag outlook. For you to believe 9/11 was a false flag means you also believe George Bush was a criminal mastermind.

Interesting post. I take exception, however, to the idea that "we" let the education system go into the toilet. In all truth, "we" had nothing to do with it; the Teachers Unions and bloated Public School Administrations, all professional "Educrats" drove this education system into the ditch. And its apparently a bottomless ditch.

Also, you stated: " It will collapse because our country has a majority of uneducated people (also known as stupid)." Yea, your right, but I think you should know that not only is a majority of them stupid, a huge percentage of them hate your guts and worse....they kill people for tennis shoes. So there's a whole lot more at stake here than poor communications at a Doctor's office; its quickly becoming a question of whether or not you will survive the trip to the Doctor's office or instead, be killed in the cross fire of a drive by, or worse, capped in the head during a car jacking.

Checked Canada lately?

I don't think we're quite at the point that Idiocracy gives... though sometimes I wonder...

I do think a revolution is coming though...

They can only push the public so far before they snap...

Theres so much corruption coming from every direction... its only a matter of time

If I can convince my wife, I would honestly love to move out of the U.S and go to the U.K or Canada.

What was it Ben Franklin said?

A Republic, madame, if you can keep it.

Our country has always depended on the vigilance and care of its citizens. We did indeed let this happen to ourselves by refusing to be vigilant over what was happening in our institutions.

Ouch, but true.

This thread reminds me I need to call the maintenance guy who fixes my appliances AGAIN because he keeps forgetting to call or show up to check out my dishwasher for weeks now.

I wish I could add a little consolation but ....

Most of the idiots out there think contemporary culture is the will of GOD; Designed by the father, the son and the holy spirit for an eventual Armageddon.

Now that's depressing! With that style of thinking and attitude; there is little hope for improvement. They actually welcome the Apocalypse to validate their religious convictions. Where is the incentive to improve civilization, the culture or the community when the rapture is just around the corner.

That's why it's imperative to send in your prayer offerings and tithe envelopes asap.....

I have always thought that movie posed a very good argument to explain how our society could be devolving this way.

Watching the most intelligent people I know waited too long to reproduce, and are having troubles doing it, while the idiots were reproducing like rabbits the whole time... it seems pretty inevitable, doesn't it?

GW Bush is a criminal, but not a mastermind. His job was to be a puppet which he did nicely. There are plenty of others to mastermind what actually takes place in this world.

He's not really some sh*t Kicker Cowboy either but he pulled that off and everyone else bought it too.
One Cowboy Hat...Check.
One pair of Jeans....Check.
One Ranch in Texas....Check.
and One Moron who can pull off acting like some dumb hick....Check.

Game On!

The idiocracy has been in place for decades.

Watch some talk shows and news stories about controversial issues and it is apparent that the media the masses are exposed to is full of bad information, distractions, and even a little bit of disinformation.

Hopefully my generation can do something about it. Most of my peers in the under 35 crowd realize something needs to be done.

It does not look good to have our elected 'leaders' and many of those appointed to powerful behave like a like a special needs child having a tantrum. Humanity is much better that what we have become.
