We kick of season two of Next Level BS with an enlightening interview with celebrated investigative journalist, Brad Friedman. Brad has been focusing his efforts on all aspects of election fraud for over a decade, and has been called the Paul Revere of the election integrity fight. We get into some of the fraud over the past few voting cycles, then focus on what's happening with rampant attempts at vote suppression leading up to the 2014 midterm elections. Brad holds no punches, and walks through the details of a wide ranging Republican effort to stop vast segments of the population from voting -- including why strict Voter ID laws are BS. Conservatives may not enjoy this episode, but the facts are facts, and that's our focus.

Visit the BradBlog for more election fraud information.

Here is a question I would like to ask.

Why did Bush vs Gore come down to a hair?
Why did Bush vs Kerry come down to a hair?
Why did Obama vs McCain come down to a hair?
Why did Obama vs Romney come down to a hair?

The country is not that split between the middle.
Polls and media telling people what others believe is a big part of it as well.

Good job on the show!

Edit..I called the last elections as an example, look at the timestamps on my linked threads.

Glad to see you back Joe, and what a stonking return to the plate! Knocked it out of the park!

The issues you covered in this interview cut right to the heart of the entire principle of democratic voting. People are fond of saying that the US is not a democracy, but a republic. While the USA might be a republic, its method of selecting a leader is supposed to be democratic, and it seems ever clearer that the democratic process in the US is about as valid as the argument for a flat earth!

Again, well done on this episode, and good to see you! Hope you are well old chap! Cannot wait for the next instalment!

including why strict Voter ID laws are BS.

Wait what ?

Voter ID laws are BS ?

How's that ?

Suppose to have ID every time I get in my car and go somewhere. IT'S the LAW.

Have to have ID every time I buy smokes or a bottle of JACK DANIELS.

Have to have ID for opening up a bank account.

Have to have ID for getting government benefits.

Have to have ID for buying a gun.

But it's outrageous for a person to provide it to show proof they are a 'real person' instead of dead people voting.

this is my thought too, I'm australian, and there are massive fundamental flaws in our voting system also.
what is the problem with verifying who someone is before letting them vote?

right now I walk into a polling station, I say my name (AND ADDRESS, which is about 4 years out of date, but CBF changing it)
they draw a line through my name, and hey presto.

however, I could then go to 25 other polling booths and do the same if I wanted to.

there has to be a way to 1. verify I am who I say I am, and 2. stop me from voting again and again and again....

I don't see any problems with it.

Considering a person's existence depends on ID these days.

Seriously? Mr. Friedman is a well known liberal. I call BS on your BS! How about attacking this subject from both sides of the issue.

ID is BS. Voting is BS.

Suppose to have ID every time I get in my car and go somewhere. IT'S the LAW.

Don't drive. Cars are BS. I get along just fine on foot. No ID required.

Have to have ID every time I buy smokes or a bottle of JACK DANIELS.

Why do any of that? Why pay money to be stupid? BS

Have to have ID for opening up a bank account.

Banks are BS. Why go to one?

Have to have ID for getting government benefits.

Why would you take advantage?

Have to have ID for buying a gun.

Don't buy one. You are just as likely to die with or without it. Death and pain finds us. Guns don't stop the misery.

But it's outrageous for a person to provide it to show proof they are a 'real person' instead of dead people voting.

Free country?

Yet everyone HAS to have ID (papers)?

Major BS.

Oh I watched it.

'Corporate' media this. 'Corporate' media that.

Last time I checked when it come to deciding presidential elections the electoral college is the 'decider'.

But then again Iive in a state 'Indiana' where the current potus was put on the ballot ILLEGALLY.

Then there is stuff like this:

ballotpedia.org...

Interesting little article there.

Lots of examples exist there.

www.nbcnewyork.com...

www.washingtontimes.com...

The video was just a clear admonished of the right, where the other side of that coin is just as guilty.

Odd… it doesn't seem that way.

'Corporate' media this. 'Corporate' media that.

That was only mentioned in one brief section.

We didn't cover that. We covered primarily vote suppression.

If you had watched the full video, you'd know that Brad said both sides were guilty of a great deal, it's just that right now, leading up to the election tomorrow, the right is the most active with dirty tricks. We focused primarily on what's happening now.

Voter fraud looks to be minimal. We cited a widely used study that found only 31 suspect ballots out of nearly 1 billion.

Election fraud, and vote suppression… yes, it's rampant. Nearly to the levels of the Jim Crow era.

And In my opinion I don't think it is.

That is pretty much tit for tat.

It always has been.

A full examination of all of the dirty tricks would take hours. And there's an ebb-and-flow of which side takes the lead from season to season. With the massive amounts of dark money pumping now, it's clear that the republicans are over the top in brining us close to the Jim Crow era. There's really no denying it.

But that likely means that the democrats will need to step up their efforts, and in two years, the story likely may be different.

Why because they are polling well ?

That's more a reflection of just how bad the past 6 years have been.

As to dark money there's lots of that being thrown at both sides.

I am sure they will if the tomorrow goes like I expect with a sweep of the Senate.

The Democrats will go with a full court press for the next two years.

NONSTOP 24/7 hype, and blame to maintain the White House, and retake both House's.

It would be better for the Republicans to keep what they current have then take the presidency, and Senate in 2016.

Two years is an eternity in politics.

American politics is a chess game anyways, and those politicians on capitol shill are always several moves ahead.
