I did do as TrueBrit suggested with no joy, understanding ; this was as good as a restore point. ie took out a bunch of
gif's posted recently - which would have held the bulk of any recent bloat.

Should have given another lungful of BS ... no joy.

So, it's not a capacity issue. I wonder... Have you tried "log out, clear cookies & cache and log back in"? I rarely get issues here because I run CCleaner every day anyway, but if I have a problem that usually cures it.


ETA: also, try uploading a smallish image, say 50 KB or less. See if that works. If it does, try a bigger one. If even a small one won't load then we can narrow down the issue, maybe.

I figured the jpeg not loading after trying a gif. would sorta tell you ... nope. lol !
Tried a few, but as I mentioned this happened a few days ago and self resolved .


Eta: ran CCleaner and malwarebytes ...
without a cure.

I follow. Was just suggesting a small .jpg to see if that made any difference. (Hey, weirder things have happened!)

But as you've used the good gear to clean up and check your compy at least we can rule that out.

Iv'e heard that Czech beer is some of the best !

I have however sampled Pilsener Urquell, it reminded me of Belgian.

Have you been having any connection problems perhaps? Intermittent failures in internet connectivity may have interfered with the upload process?

Hey, there is nothing as interesting as a mystery, and at the moment, the reason for your intermittent inability to upload images is about as arcane in aspect as a thing could be!

Lets see now...

We ruled out connection issues, we ruled out a general failure of the upload system, since JustMike checked, and found no problems during their attempt. We ruled out your upload quota, if such a thing even exists, being topped out. So it has to be something user specific, but at the site server end perhaps? I don't know. Tech beyond a broadsword and an axe often befuddles me pretty comprehensively, and this issue seems to be stretching well beyond the reaches of my understanding.

I hope that whatever it is, it gets resolved with all due expeditiousness!

I have a related issue of uploading with my Android. for the record my browser has both desktop and Android user-agents and it works on neither.
