Why Does the Word 'Window' get blanked out in my posts???

It has happened to me twice, but not recently (because I avoid using it, for that reason.) Let me run the same test you did...

If the word window doesn't show up in this sentence, I'm going to throw my laptop out the closest one.

Yay it worked!!! I just realized that when it used to happen, I owned a Mac. Now I have a PC. Is it possible that Macintosh is playing a little game of 'hey you can't post the competition's name!' Kind of haha to me, if so.

The replacing of "window" by "_" only happens when the word is followed by a full stop and has no capital letters, making "window‍." appear as "window.".

I only noticed when I posted a quote on a thread about mushrooms and possible benefit in treating some types of mental illness. I thought it might be a drug related...as in not to mention it.

ETA

Now I have noticed that the quote and thread have vanished. Perhaps they wandered off into a drug addled ATS sunset, although the subject matter seemed serious enough.

Anyway, it's all good.

You're not crazy - it seems to happen primarily when the word "window" falls at a hard stop, like the end of a sentence.

I tossed that right out the window.
