A plane has crashed, possibly into a building, at Mid-Continent Airport in Wichita, Kansas...


The King Air plane hit a flight safety building and left possibly 10 people trapped inside, KAKE-TV reported.

This seems to be a "minor" airplane incident. I saw this on the news and shuddered. My first thought was 9/11 all over again.

I hope there is no loss of life!

My thoughts an prayers go out to the community and I hope there is no substantial loss of life here. It doesn't look good from the pics so hopefully the news will be a bit better.

Anyone on the plane was almost certainly killed. Fortunately the King Air, depending on seat layout, holds about 20 IIRC. It's one of the most popular twin turboprops for private aircraft.

Yeah, reportedly a "Beech 20" tried to return to the a/p after take-off, and crashed into the roof of the safety building - almost certainly no survivors.

No, they had a dream about a commercial airliner crashing in Manhattan, that's nothing like this situation, nothing like it at all.

Billions of people have dreams all over the world every day, billions of those dreams do not come true.

Do I believe that some have an ability to subconsciously extrapolate information they gather without realizing it and see something that might plausibly happen in the future? Absolutely. Do I think that people can use probability and data either consciously known or unconsciously collected and have dreams that resolve those internal questions, which later come to pass? Yes.

This does not match the "premonition" in any way other than "plane" and "crash" - something that is bound to happen, somewhere, at least a couple of times a week.

The plane is a Beechcraft King Air and went down at the Mid-Continent Airport just before 10 a.m. Central Time on Thursday. The building is home to a flight training business and some 100 people were inside at the time of the crash, officials said.

That's terrible that 2 people died. Thankful that more were not hurt. Hoping & praying for the best possible outcome for all.

BTW when the reporter wrote that Mid-Continent Airport is home to a flight training business... if failed to point out that its Kansas's regional airport...not very big true but still the biggest in the state...

I should know, up until last year the wife and I lived there in Wichita over off 31 st and Meridian. that's just on the east side of Highway 235 from the airport...

I can see where that would happen... it's not a big building... one long hallway with three or four gates that lead off from there... I mean you can walk from one end to the other in a couple of minutes.

Yeah I knew someone would come back with something like that. Unfortunatly dream premonitions which have been studied by respected universities around the world does not occur with exact details, time stamped , with longitude and latitude and who what where when and how neatly wrapped with a ribbon. It's symbols and interpretation . Once I dreamed of Mexican hats when the event was in Mexico. A dream I posted on here was of young men throwing bottles of cholera into a European river and the event turned out to be live polio accidentally released into a European river.
Planes crashing in NYC would be a common enough image to come to mind when someone says plane crash. It's a common trauma for most Americans and so the brain could easily select this image to relay the information.
It would be great if premonitions could be so exact and detailed but the link is tenuous at best. It's really silly to scoff at this in this day and age when so many studies prove its existence Just how often does someone dream of a plane crash then feel compelled to share the information and then a plane actually crashed and makes the news? . reply to: Rocker2013

it sounds like the fire might have gotten away from them

Firefighters were pulled from inside the building after concerns of possible collapse, officials said. Ceilings and at least one wall were reported collapsed, according to the airport.

PS I'm pretty sure planes don't crash a couple of times a week. They don't claim it's the safest form of transportation for nothing. a reply to: Rocker2013

Actually, there's a plane crash pretty much every day in the US: www.ntsb.gov...

I can think of three recent ones top of my head - the Hawker that went down yesterday near Pt Mugu, a airplane that collided with a helicopter in Frederick, MD, and an F15C on a maintenance trip in SW VA.

They are saying that only the pilot was aboard. Unless he was loaded up on fuel and carrying cargo, this is kind of strange. The King Air is usually pretty good on one engine. Only thing that I can think of is that when he feathered the bad engine, he inadvertently hit the prop control or throttle for the good engine.
