Pumpkin Carving Contest? Costume Contest?

Are we doing anything like that this year? I think it would be kind of fun.

I just carved a pumpkin for the first time in years and it's a little, uh, abstract. You have to squint. I'm probably going to try a few more though.

I was thinking we could just have a thread started, then closed at a certain time and the stars tallied to find a winner. Polls open whenever, close midnight on Halloween?

I'll do a quick tutorial. Let me snap some pics. Before that though I'll type it out.

Look at the top bar where it says ATS and there are a bunch of links. VIDEO TOP LIVE etc. Go to the down arrow (carrot two buttons over from myATS) and click it. A drop down menu appears. Click Upload. You'll see a screen and there is an upload button. Click that. Then find the picture you want on your computer. Select it. Then hit upload. Then fin that picture, click it and copy the line that says "use in post". Velcro that in thread and picture should show up.

So my friend, here are the steps.









At this point a box will pop up. You need to find the picture you saved. It may be on the desktop, it may be in pictures, if you don't know how to find that let me know.

After you select the image click this guy



You'll see the progress bar fill up, then your picture appear.

Then click the picture you want to use.



When that pops up highlight and copy the part that I outlined in red. Then just paste it.

By the way, the lower left one is spiderman, you cant see all the detail but it took me almost 26 hours straight to complete it.

The only thing....contests on ATS needs to be "run" by ATS staff. Thanks for bringing up the idea Domo....now get those entries in!!!!

But seriously... how DO you manage to burn fries that badly??? lol... I cook by smell, and never need to set a timer because I can always smell when a dish is cooked to perfection...at the point those fries were cooked, your whole house must have reeked!
