You can't perceive an obvious joke? (By the way, again, using those silly facts, liberals do average higher IQs, reference ABC News) But I was kidding, to be painfully and perfectly clear with you.

To see some offering serious draconian limitations on the right to vote, see your Republican buddy's diatribe up above.

Of course, you don't see any problem with it, it fits your ideology. Besides that, I'll point out the usual facts like there is statistically no in person voter fraud, voting places do require ID, and ID's don't stop election fraud.

Please, rave on though ... and get away from actually discussing the video because, you know ,... it makes Republicans look RIDICULOUS.

What if you cannot afford an ID? Who's going to pay for that? The taxpayers?

Yep already in the works.

Up to 34 MILLION blank 'green cards' and work permits to be ordered Read more: www.dailymail.co.uk...

And really who the eff can't 'afford' ID ?

One is needed to drive, buy alcohol, smokes, and guns, and to sign up for government 'benefits'.

Hell memory serves illegals pay thousands of dollars to get here.

Can't afford 20 bucks for ID ?

Funny.

Silly Xuenchen, you just do what you're trying to do now and ignore Democratic votes.

Talk to your buddies at Diebold; they have a lot of experience with that kind of thing.

Too bad you're not in charge ... I bet you could "clean up" a lot of these problems, huh?

Why, you wouldn't even need to see ID, would you?

You can just look at 'em and tell who's legitimate voter, now can't ya?

Hey since I have to whip out my id every time I do something in this country.

From opening up a bank account, buying beer, smokes, buying a gun, and hell every single time I get in my car to go somewhere else.

Then SO DO ILLEGALS.

SO DOES EVERY ONE else even for voting.

People need to stop acting like its a big deal.

I don't care what you whip out or when you do it.

Anyone who votes in this country identifies themselves.

There is virtually no in-person voter-fraud in this country.

It's a solution searching for a problem.

But HEEEYY ... let's get back to the topic of the thread, huh?

So this Republican blogs this manufactured BS story and drives tighty-righties across the country wild.

It's not voter fraud, not even close.

The guy is walking into the place openly in broad daylight.

The guy knows there are surveillance cameras present and that he is being recorded.

The guy is wearing a T-SHIRT WHICH ANNOUNCES THE GROUP HE WORKS FOR.

About 3 microwatts of thought would reveal to everyone that the guy is not trying to commit fraud ...

SO WHY ARE REPUBLICANS EVERYWHERE SO GULLIBLE AS TO BELIEVE THE HYPE?

Don't you guys have the whole Christian values thing wrapped up, according to you?

Isn't one of those virtues honesty?

Someone needs to tell Mr. Lafaro.

And the rest of you need to take a nap ... jeez-louise.

This is why the Conservative infotainment industry is so big and successful in this country. They know that the fringe eats this stuff up and hence you get sites like Breitbart, World Net Daily and the thousands of blogs that do nothing but spread fear mongering and misinformation to keep their audience in a constant state of fear.

It's sad really.

Then do tell why do dead people vote?

'Virtually no voter fraud' eh ?

That was hilarious.

Guess someone has never heard of dead people voting.

Heck, there were UN Observers at one of our polling places during the last presidential election, and THEY couldn't believe we didn't require voter ID.

I believe we may be the one and only country in the world that doesn't require ID to vote

Leaving the US, #1 in the world for potential for voter fraud

That statement is either mistaken or intentionally deceptive.

Of course the US does require identification to vote.

Voter ID Requirements US

And before you get all excited about the Gray States that are listed as No ID Required, voter identification is still required:

Californa Secretary of State - Voter Identification Requirements

Voter Registration Requirements - New York

Etc. Etc.

You guys really need to come up with a new slogan.

Democracies that don't require ID to vote: United States, Denmark, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.

In Ireland you just have to show a blank check or a credit card with your name on it as ID. In Switzerland, if you bring your voter registration card that's mailed to you before the election, you don't need anything else. Canada requires two of forty five different ways to ID yourself, including student transcripts and utility bills. Then there's the plethora of nations that just give national ID's away when you reach a certain age.

It's not so much that I have a problem with voter ID...it's how hard they're trying to make it to prove you are who you say you are.

Why don't you just go ahead and restrict voting to Republicans only?

That might achieve the goal you guys are actually going for.

As sarcastic as you are, democrats would do exactly that if they thought they could get away with it.

IDs are not something that someone can't "afford". In every state that I have lived, you can get a non-driver ID at either the DMV or the sheriff's department, and it's either free or there is a modest clerical fee. Give me a break with that argument.

What if you're not in town the day of an election? Do you lose your chance to vote?

There would have to be some kind of ironclad accommodation I suppose, but the culture needs to change so that you'd likely be home on that day.

What economic ramifications will come from declaring election day a holiday? Since federal and state employees are required to have those days off.....can we even hold elections?

One day? Are you joking? The government already has every other Monday or Friday off for some stupid fake holiday. MLK day, Columbus Day, Arbor Day, Bill's Birthday. This is a non-argument.

How are we going to make sure employers give their employees time to vote? Will that require a new government oversight office?

Like I said - mandate it. Employers who are in violation get a nice fat fine. If that is a holiday, most people who would be working would likely be part-time retail or similar.
