That's pretty neat. I'm no pro though I think it is photoshopped. There is no scan-lines going over the text as if something was typed over the original. I could be wrong, however.

Ebola isn't photo shopped…

You were "looking around" and found this… no link?

Besides generally, I mean.

Well, the black death caused a steep drop in the labor supply which increased the standard of living and gave rise to the renaissance, so if it's going to happen, just pull the trigger and get it over with already. I'll be in my cave trying on my new tin foil hat in the interim.

There is a website you can go to and make it look like you tweeted something out a year or two or when ever you want to do it, all you have to do is type in your tweet, and put in the date, I'm sure he went there.

Using Google's advanced search, you can't find the tweet. The ONLY result is this:

MagicMike's tweet

In the future, to avoid "Mr. Snark", just provide the link when you start a thread.

Now all we need is someone to dig up the tweets and see if it appears like that on that page.

I tried, but the guy tweets A LOT. After a while, it stopped loading.

ETA: that's why I tried Google.

...or, you could ask for the link, nicely.

No snark required.

Too simple?

It's likely a real tweet, but the guy who tweeted it is probably trolling.

On the other hand, it was posted oct. 23rd 2013, so it does seem unlikely that some clown-thug idiot whose grammar is equivalent to that of a potato's would know anything about Ebola in 2013.

There is no way the situation described is authentic. These boards are not "magic," but when they do work it seems to be because there is a strong intent to communicate with non-physical entities, and these things are essentially invited in. And it seems that more often than not it is something negative that is attracted. This is likely because positive entities are not going around looking for people to mess with, whatever the reason. The board itself that is used doesn't matter, and that is why what amounts to a toy basically works sometimes. These boards, while of a recent invention, have been around in other forms for centuries. Divination and spirit communication goes back to the first human civilization, but probably even before.

Anyway, the reason that I am mentioning all of this is because when these communications do work, the boards do not usually go spelling out things willy-nilly. They generally respond to questions, rather than engaging in prophecy. I could elaborate a bit more, but that is the only point I wanted to make. Aside from all that, the message itself suggests to me that in some idiotic way the person was trying to make a funny. They did not succeed in my opinion.
