REJECT: Obama’s credit card denied at restaurant on New York City trip

President Obama came perilously close to having to wash some dishes on his recent trip to New York. Mr. Obama revealed Friday that his credit card was rejected when he went to pay for his meal at a New York restaurant during the U.N. General Assembly gathering earlier this month. “Turns out I guess I don’t use it enough,” so the payment wouldn’t go through, Mr. Obama explained.

Say what you will, but I think this is the most blatant load of rubbish I have ever heard. He's trying too hard to come across like the average american and it just feels like propaganda to me. I highly doubt what they want to push onto all banks is going to be JUST an enhanced security measure.

“Apparently they thought there was some fraud going on,” Mr. Obama joked at a meeting Friday with employees of the Consumer Financial Protection Board, joking that “even I am affected” by the difficulties of dealing with the American financial system. The remarks were picked up by the C-SPAN feed of the event.

Mr. Obama revealed his plastic problems while signing an executive order the White House says will make the federal payments system safer, making a plea for more banks and retailers to adopt enhanced security measure to protect consumers from fraud and identity theft.

Smells fishy to me, but then again what doesn't...

Personally it would be poetic justice to keep him shackled
with a three-footer to the machine full of a microbiological
kaleidoscope of contagion until January 19, 2017. Scrub first,
Barry... the Eggs Benedict Arnold are kind of tainted today.
I can dream...

Um ya no way the president is paying for his own food and on top of that the restaurant saying anything about a denied card to him.

He could just use America's credit card, like he does for everything else.
