But if he is, once again his Secret Service are failing to protect him. Why would they let the president close to an infectious situation or people even marginally potentially infectious?

And whether he really did it or not, him saying it just adds to the irresponsible misinformation being spread. Did he really just tell Americans to go ahead and hug and kiss nurses who were just caring for Ebola patients. After all, it is totally safe if he did it. Right?

He really seriously thinks that this is not a problem? I have not been going along with the ideas of those who suggest there is something intentional in this potential outbreak, but these repeated, obvious, lies that are endangering us are starting to make me wonder.

I have to agree with you here, unless, of course, he ignored their advice.

But, it was at the CDC in Atlanta that the armed man got on an elevator with him. And, that incident was just three days before an intruder got into the White House. Hmmmm. Testing to see just how close one can get to the prez?
