Good morning ATS

As you, so do I, of a morning make my coffee and peruse ATS, sometimes I'm flummoxed, sometimes bemused, sometimes entertained. But there is nowhere for me to go and just relax. It's a golden rule here, NEVER post before your second coffee.

Hence this thread:

This is for us to awaken to, to allow our brains to kick in before inserting our feet into our mouths.
Those of you that know me know the score:

This thread is as always open to all, indeed welcomes all. Regardless of race, creed, colour, sexual orientation or chosen animal avatar.

As always T's & C's must be complied with.

So again.

Good morning ATS

I never try to form any coherent thoughts until at least 1 cup of coffee, a glass of milk (sometimes a coke or red bull) and a smoke. Yup, still on my last few cigs.

I'll be here tho...

Peace

I'm usually here with my first cup of coffee, about 5am,just as the night shift here is winding down. That's when I catch up on all the shenanigans I missed the night before.

Hey, congratulations! Hope you can get it to work for you. I have a lot of supplies that could easily be used to outfit a coffee shop. I'm not going to need them. Chairs, stools, coffee, coffee maker, even a box of tunes if you can handle music so early in the day.

Hi. I'm with Beezer on the tea. Are we awake enough to use the tea pot or shall we just go with the tea bags in the mug?

Aw, that's a tough question first thing in the morning... and where is the damn tea pot anyway? I'll go with the bag in the mug option because I'm not awake enough yet

I like tea so strong that you can eat it with a knife and fork.

Another real tea drinker!

Do you have a favorite blend?

My preference is simple black teas.

I don't have the opportunity to experiment too often.

Chai tea.
It tastes like everyday is Christmas.

No special blend, but never anything fancy - no weird herbal things or red bush or funny flavours.
Lots of milk and hot! And in a BIG mug.

Lol, at work a colleague gave us a ginormous hi-tech coffee percolator as a thank you when she left. The only space available was a little counter where the kettle lives so for a while it was a race between the tea drinkers and the coffee drinkers to claim the counter space for their choice of machine (school break times not long enough to run both machines, provide required fuel to all and consume before next lesson starts).

Fortunately the problem was solved by another counter being added without paperwork in triplicate, a 10 man committee and a three month impact assessment and report back. When it is absolutely essential it seems the problem can be solved super fast!
