there is no reason or justification to smash ones fist into some ones face when they are down .

and we do know what led up to it , it was a fat cop on a power trip .

I didn't say I agreed with it. I don't like the idea of a cop hitting someone when they're handcuffed. I would like to know what the earlier events were.

I hear ya man, I'm curious too - but do they really matter?

Anyone else notice the cop take something out of the kid's pocket as he lay unconscious on the ground, and stuff it is his own pocket?

But we don't see what led up to it....Only the reaction....
Did he run from the cop? Did he resist in some way?
I need to know more before I can chalk it up as "bad cop".
Doesnt matter what led up to it. The kid was unarmed in a defenseless position. There was NO reason for the cop to strike him at that moment.

I saw it. My guess is it was his cigarettes. Civil forfeiture at it's finest, the cop must have been a smoker.

Well I certainly don't agree with what I think you are hinting at, but I would like to see more accountability. This was blatant and I can't see any justification.

I 100% agree with what he is "hinting at".
When cops (or politicians) understand that there will be (actual) repercussions for actions, those actions will stop.
Quickly.
