I just saw an interview with the guy who discovered ebola on the bbc and he was asked if it could cause a pandemic in the west and he said "no".

I kind of share the same sentiment sadly. Just another instance of those in charge pissing on us and then having the audacity to stand up and attempt to convince us all that it's raining instead.

Thanks for posting this.

I thought it interesting that the lady was saying that if the DC test comes back positive, she's going to do "phoners".

I did save the video in case they do remove it.

Would have liked to been a fly on that wall. Nice to see the government is up to the same old tricks. Find out one thing and tell the public another.

I don't see why it would be removed when he is obviously making fun...

Not that it's a funny situation...

so, I wonder what exactly he meant by "we're screwed"
Like him & his buddies are screwed? or everybody's screwed?

Would have been great to have some more context...

It's an open mic and I'm not entirely sure what he means by we are screwed.

I can agree with him but at the same time Ebola has never spread this much before so it's almost new ground. Most of the other infections since 1976 haven't really been that bad, maybe about 1000 people or less. It just has a death percent of about 58%.

maybe, nah that was a joke though. I just don't know what he means by we are screwed. It could be a joke or could be something else.

He's joking about a possible case of Ebola in DC. The We're seems to be those DC people in those circles. It's the kind of joking you do after your teacher gives you a hard assignment that seems impossible.
Like: "guys we are so screwed haha, 20 page paper in a week?"
"Yea I'm calling in sick next week haha."

It has that feel. So taking the analogy back the other way I think it's sort of bravado. I don't think they are actually worried just yet. They are excited it's not another boring day. They don't seem to have any extra knowledge we don't have, and they sound less informed than those on ATS, in general of course.

Interesting anyway.

Loud beep at the end if you have headphones on just heads up.

Maybe I'm just too new to the CT game (even though technically I was a believer before I hit puberty without knowing it), but the Ebola thing is looking more and more like a world shattering pandemic. Every single assumption about Ebola is based on the Ebola from Zaire.

How did a disease travel from the deep jungles of the Congo to West Africa without any other cases appearing? For reference Congo itself is having a unrelated outbreak which is business as usual. It popped up in a random remote village and burned itself out.

news.yahoo.com...

Now I see an article about ISIS using Ebola for terrorism. They are practically suggesting they do it. The article points out how easy it would be. No scientific knowledge at all needed.

news.yahoo.com...

The constant linking of ISIS and Ebola in the middle is making this seem like the most devious false flag operation in human history. Only time will tell and there's nothing we can really do. All the knowledge and expertise available to stop Ebola is controlled by the US government and it's puppet masters.

Perhaps it's the nature of going down the rabbit hole but every sign seems to be pointing to this being the NWO plot everyone has feared. The massive campaign of doomsday fear mongering combined with an equally massive campaign of "don't panic stay calm" in the midst of the most dangerous and worrysome events in global politics since the end of the cold war does not bode well.

If Ebola does spread to any significant degree in any place outside Africa the entire world will fall into chaos. The thread about Mongols (and by extension black plague) seems to be a good one. This combo of massive disease and war altered the course of history on every level. If this is even a fraction of what happened in the 13th and 14th centuries then this era of history is rapidly coming to an end. The cycles of history seem to repeat but I'll sum things up with my favorite quote probably of all time.

"I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones". -Albert Einstein

I just read an interview with two top Virologist that studied Ebola and they said that this is the first multi path human to human outbreak and they have know idea how the disease is going to mutate.

Accusations of doom porn from a guy with a gif of WTC 7 as his avatar (is that what you call it? I'm still rather new). So 9/11 was real but everything else is all good? 9/11 wasn't an exception. It's the rule. Why not a combo of terrorist patsies with an American made bioweapon? Seems to be working well whether the terrorists and epidemic are engineered or not. Everyone certainly is worried and selling their civil liberties for safety at a higher rate than ever before. Ferguson is like totally forgotten now.

I think they are right, There is no way anybody knows what is going to happen with this. The only other place this has really been was I think it was the phillapines back in 1976 and it came with monkeys that were delivered there. I have to look again but I think this is the first time It has come to North America.

The last time I checked also this is a new strain of Ebola. There are I want to say 6 strains and they can't match this strain with any known strains. That may have changed I think I saw that yesterday, I am writing a epidemiology paper on Ebola for a class I am in.

www.virology.ws...

Balog pointed out the medical literature on virology commonly says asymptomatic but infected individuals can spread a disease to others before showing any signs of being sick.

“We have medical models that say a person is capable of secreting a virus like Ebola in bodily fluids before the person displays symptoms of the disease,” he stressed, “and that medical evidence is simply being ignored by Dr. Frieden and the CDC when the public is told repeatedly it’s OK to let Ebola-infected people fly as long as they don’t have a fever.”

Read more at www.wnd.com...

So in 2009 we had warnings that, if you read the journal article that sneezes and coughs and people without fever and symptoms can spread Ebola.

That is the truth that the government's of the world are trying to hide from the public.

Look at instructions for lab workers who handle Ebola:

SOURCES/SPECIMENS: Blood, serum, urine, respiratory and throat secretions, semen, and organs or their homogenates from human or animal hosts Footnote 1 Footnote 2 Footnote 53.

COMMUNICABILITY: Communicable as long as blood, body fluids (includes urine, sweat, mucus, coughs, sneezes, bowel movements) or organs, contain the virus. Ebolavirus has been isolated from semen 61 to 82 days after the onset of illness, and transmission through semen has occurred 7 weeks after clinical recovery Footnote 1 Footnote 2 Footnote 59 Footnote 60.

Ebolavirus dried onto glass, polymeric silicone rubber, or painted aluminum alloy is able to survive in the dark for several hours under ambient conditions (between 20 and 250C and 30–40% relative humidity) (amount of virus reduced to 37% after 15.4 hours), but is less stable than some other viral hemorrhagic fevers (Lassa) Footnote 53.
When dried in tissue culture media onto glass and stored at 4 °C, Zaire ebolavirus survived for over 50 days Footnote 61.

PHYSICAL INACTIVATION: Ebola are moderately thermolabile and can be inactivated by heating for 30 minutes to 60 minutes at 60°C (140 degrees F), boiling for 5 minutes, or gamma irradiation (1.2 x106 rads to 1.27 x106 rads) combined with 1% glutaraldehyde Footnote 10 Footnote 48 Footnote 50

www.phac-aspc.gc.ca...

So the article is saying that health care workers can be exposed from sweat, sneezes, coughs, urine, feces, vomit
that land anywhere on the skin, not just hands or inhaled

On Chris Matthews show a CDC representative did not deny that if an Ebola patient
sweats on an arm rest and seat on an airplane
the next person who sits there or puts their arm on the rest could be exposed.

So maybe the reference meant:
either:
The world is screwed and the US along with it
or
The media is screwed for letting a little truth leak out
