Despite "Negative" Test Result, Marietta Police Recieve "Medical Containment Jumpsuits"

MARIETTA, Ga. (AP) -- Police officers in the Atlanta suburb of Marietta now have kits with disposable medical containment jumpsuits and masks. Marietta police Officer David Baldwin says the kits will be in every police cruiser. He says they will help protect officers from blood, saliva and airborne contaminants.

The police have received jumpsuits to "prepare for Ebola"..

Wait, so the preliminary test came back negative but still they're preparing? Was the case a wake-up call to them or do they in fact know this is positive and are expecting more cases?

All emergency service personnel should have them. The case in Houston, apparently the CDC shows up to monitor the family in quarantine that are living in the house of the sick person, (who is now in hospital) but no one has come to help dispose of the contaminated items in the house.

Essentially you have a family living in a death trap.

If there are outbreaks in other cities, each first response unit should have a means of protecting themselves, and the CDC should have response teams set up to decontaminate any areas that have had exposure.

No just that they know what it will be like in 6 months time and they need to maintain government and police etc.

Think of the government as a big prepper with unlimited resources and a good indication of what you should be doing.
Not what they say but what they do.
only a stupid prepper would tell his local community what he was doing.
