Maybe this will help you visualize shapes, especially rectangles, on any sphere (spherical geometry)?

The 2500km 'rectangle' looks like a blast-site to destroy the evidence of the Moon being towed into Earth's orbit.


I thought the prevailing theory was that the crafts that towed the moon in to orbit latched on to the large "protrusion" on the dark side of the moon.
