I had a ceiling covered in Artex once! Always made me laugh at the horse a bit though!

Fancy naming ones steed after a cheap building substance! Artex is horrible stuff as well!

I had to google that one. Never heard of the stuff. Nasty.
My daughter named the horse. She is an even bigger fan of the Neverending Story than I am.

I have a memory of watching it on VHS at school in the 2nd grade. Simpler times.

Also, the effects in that movie are so much more realistic than the modern CGI crap used today. It's like they aren't even trying any more.

There was a book? Is it also called The Neverending Story? Does good adaptation mean true to the book for the most part? I might have to read the book sometime.

I didn't get one thing...

the never ending story...... PART 2.

Right? it's never ending, so.. Part 2?

anyway. how odd, I only saw a thing about this on tv the other night. as I get older, everything gets more annoying. I used to enjoy these sorts of things, but now it's like watching the muppets. :/

Apparently the first movie only covered the first half of the book. The second movie covered the second half.

My wife loved that movie and I didn't like it to much.

I was more of a willy wonka and goonies fan.

The book is fan-freaking-tastic. Seriously, do yourself a favor and read it.

One of the best out there, if you enjoy fantasy stories.

I still don't know what freaking name they yell at the end though.... such is life. lol.

It was Moonchild.

Supposedly, it was the name of Bastian's mother.

I'm barely 19 and knew about the movie, my parents showed me their era of culture, so I was socially awkward growing up because I wasn't attuned to the current culture. People called my childhood sucky, I called if different.

Awkward video. Audience was freaky.

Thanks for the reminder. It was one of my favorite movies and songs of childhood..

EDIT TO ADD:
Oh and never watch the "where are they nows". Some things should be kept in their former glory.
