Predestination

Yes I am a shill for a movie company.

Not really, just want to recommend a movie I recently watched that kept me guessing and guessing.
It was one of the best movies i have seen for a long time.
Mostly in to shootem ups and actions.
This was sci fi but with out much sci fi.
Starred Ethan Hawk i think.

So just letting you know if there is nothing you want to see on and this is on, go watch it.
I think most people around here would enjoy it.

A detective from a covert government agency travels back in time to seek out his younger self and catch the one criminal who has eluded him for his entire career.

They try very hard to make out it is an action movie, its not really, its a brain movie.

I guess its a bit like looper but far more depth and had no idea what the movie was about and where it is going.

I could say so much but it would give the movie away and that would defeat the purpose.

Just saying it is worth watching, at the movies, on DVD or when it comes on tv.

Just because it doesnt have a big budget and all the frills associated with blockbusters, dont miss it if you get a chance.

If the title was 'Predestination' instead of Predestination there wouldn't have been a problem.

in my limited experience, one may reasonably assume that the title of the movie is often the title of the thread in the movies forum. helps to filter the interested and knowledgable parties. 'i know this movie' or 'i want to know more about it'.

So was the protagonist, deuteragonist, tritagonist and antagonist (all the same person). Born/created from/through a paradox? Great film!

I watched this last nite, and I thought it was absolutely one of the most stupid movies I have ever seen.

I like time travel movies but WHAT THE HELL ?

SPOILER!

Go back in time to basically screw yourself so that you can be born, and then turn out to be a psycho who likes to blow people up.

Meh this movie was a total disappointment.
