Chinese hats why do we not use them in the west?.

Okay I may look a bit daft but I love my Chinese hat, much better than a brolly and you can have a fag in the pouring rain and not get it wet.
Here is me with mine.



Sorry it's a bit mucky it has been raining.
Now I have an idea to buy a load of these and sell them to folk because they are freakin super cool and practical.
So would you wear one?.
If not why?.

I wish I had 2, One to crap in and one to cover it up.. hahaha If they are indeed called "Chinese hats" and are 'Made in China' save some $$ and I'll run down to the local Chinamar...uh...er..... Walmart™ and either walk down 1.5 aisles OR pick off the stickers that read "Made in China" these are the stickers that the "real Patriots, Buy American" folks rip off what they just saved .88¢ on and then brag to their 2 friends on how they had to "go out of their way, but By God this has American parts"

My daughters already giggle at my garden sun hat. So laughter doesn't seem to faze me. I suppose if it is raining and I wanted to keep my hair dry, I would wear it. The giggles would end, when I were to get inside and my hair perfect. I could then giggle at the wet soaked mop heads that laughed at me!

I was going to mention that if He wants to market these south of the Mason-Dixon Line that a 'fag under a brolly' probably won't cut it. Personally, I'd market these as an alternative to an 'Asian tattoo' where instead of getting something that You 'think' means "Serenity; Contentment" actually means "blowing a fag under a parasol"

We had a few of these in a shed at a farm i used to work on... so late one afternoon they got put on, the Scythes and long handled slashers came out along with our feeble wu-shu and how i wish i had access to those photos, they were priceless.
