Get a board and send the moves by mail, people use to do it by regular mail back in the day and waited 3 months before making a move

i was thinking this, have your own boards and just send/call the moves and move your pieces accordingly.

there are plenty of chess games on the internet, is google broken for you?!

chessmaniac.com was decent.

chess.com is probably the main one that most people flock to.

there are literally dozens out there...if you are an apple guy you can do social chess on your iphone pad etc...

Chess is really hard to get a good player to play with thats at your level, you either get your ass kicked or you beat them down and neither is fun.

You want a player at your own level or its just not fun.

Now online battleships, thats a fun game to play with anyone because its more about chance and fun. Chess is very cerebral.

I used to play chess at a website called flyordie.

If you play with random people then try not to play with the highest rated ones because they use chess programs.

Online games suck. I've been beating computer chess since the early 80's. It hasn't changed much. Personal is the way to play. I hate playing bots in ANY game. And I'll take any human on at chess, backgammon or cribbage any time. Bring money.

Do you know how many times I've heard that? Really. I keep warning them. Which game? Chess, Backgammon or Cribbage?

I found one on yahoo:

www.chess.com/l/yahoo-chess

Just make an account by putting a username, password and make up any email ([email protected])

Then skip the next 2 steps and we can play.
