That's 171,904,640 SQUARE acres. Square that number and you get the number of 1 acre*1 acre plots available. That comes out to 29,851,205,253,529,600 plots. That's 29.8 QUADRILLION plots. 7 billion is virtually nothing out of such a large number, much less than 1% even, infact it's such a small amount that every one of us could have 100x as much space and we would still only be using 1/3000 of the available space.
Let me explain this with smaller numbers and a diagram. Each X is a 1 acre by 1 acre plot
