Some satellite images from the University of Illinois's Cryosphere project are somehow showing the polar ice cap to be thicker and larger.

Al Gore said the ice cap would be long gone by now.

Can he ever be trusted again?

He got a Nobel Prize for his past efforts in global warming.

Can a Nobel Prize be revoked?

Apparently this is the second year in a row.

Stunning!

The speech by former US Vice-President Al Gore was apocalyptic. ‘The North Polar ice cap is falling off a cliff,’ he said. ‘It could be completely gone in summer in as little as seven years. Seven years from now.’

Those comments came in 2007 as Mr Gore accepted the Nobel Peace Prize for his campaigning on climate change.

But seven years after his warning, The Mail on Sunday can reveal that, far from vanishing, the Arctic ice cap has expanded for the second year in succession – with a surge, depending on how you measure it, of between 43 and 63 per cent since 2012.

Myth of arctic meltdown: Stunning satellite images show summer ice cap is thicker and covers 1.7million square kilometres MORE than 2 years ago...despite Al Gore's prediction it would be ICE-FREE by now

This is obviously a sign of man-made-global-weather-climate-change-tax.

Or

Carbon credits have saved the planet. . . . see!

Either or, by the Gore-club.

Looks like they will have to find some new lie so they can scam money from the gullible people out there.

Did any of you read this bit...

The most widely used measurements of Arctic ice extent are the daily satellite readings issued by the US National Snow and Ice Data Center, which is co-funded by Nasa. These reveal that – while the long-term trend still shows a decline – last Monday, August 25, the area of the Arctic Ocean with at least 15 per cent ice cover was 5.62 million square kilometres.

Not out of the woods just yet!!!

Global warming can cause global cooling. Higher taxes and more regulations could save us from an ice age.

Is it just me or does the large image on the linked page scream National Enquirer? In looks I mean.

At any rate, I always saw Gore as a fraud and I don't subscribe to the global warming caused by us and we should be taxed theory.

Maybe it's from "The Sun".

Pun intended.

How NASA is tracking the Earth's Arctic melting ice!

Although 2014 doesn't mark a record low for sea ice in the Arctic it still counts as one of the lowest years on record, according to NASA cryospheric program manager Tom Wagner. "The simple fact is this: Since the 1980s, we've lost about two-thirds of our ice from the Arctic," Wagner told Space.com in an Arctic ice video interview.

That's NASA's cryospheric program manager!

I'm not endorsing Al "More Money" Gore...
Just sharing an alternative source to the thoroughly distasteful rag that is the Daily Mail!

I'm disappointed. Where are the stunning satellite images of the north pole?

We should increase taxes anyway, just to be on the safe side.

I watched the video. It was nothing more than a time lapse simulation of data, not satellite photos, that only went up to 2012, where it looked like there was NO ice at all!

99% of liberals polled by liberals agree. While 100% of conservatives polled by conservatives believe that having the rich pay NO taxes is the only way to save the planet.

lol

It's the Sun folks.
The IPCC has never factored in Sun radiance variability.
Low low sunspot number which are dropping monthly,
are about to be the norm.
Along with this comes colder winters and an ice age that I believe is already here.
The "how dare you question us" scientists are about to get whomped
by our Sun, who doesn't give a crap about what either side thinks.
It's gonna get cold.

Man, there just has to be something there in the middle that makes sense.

From OP's source

Gore should be staked out on the ice so the polar bears can feed on him.

ETA: That would be cruel to the bears.

Denial to me is just excusing commercialism ... there cannot be any doubt we are really having a serious impact on this planet... so why shouldn't we try to limit it? .. people seem to love the idea of us not having an impact and things not being as bad as it might seem to be.. lets just say that's true.. we should still be trying to limit our impact because this is our only home ... we're a long ways away from being able to leave earth... if we're not careful we could be the next big extinction ...

I don't buy into GW as much as I do the pollution threat.

But heres a devils advocate explanation…

See, the globe is warming so more water is evaporating into the atmosphere, making more rain and at higher latitudes, more snow.

So there you go… a thicker frosting on the GW cake.
