Legalize it, though!

You spout the same incorrect and illogical lines in every thread about cannabis.

Don't beat around the bush -- just come out and say that you support socialized medicine but you know that freedom of consumption makes it cost-prohibitive.

Try vaporizing it instead of smoking.

Chances are you would feel the same anxiety for smoking the same amount of tea.

No not really, i just accept all sides of the marijuana plant incl. the negative, where most of you completely ignore the facts, actually the negative facts.

This is a discussion about legalizing marijuana, and i respect everyones opinion, but knowledge make me take the things you ignore and try to discuss that too.

If i'm incorrect you should concentrate on that and prove me wrong, instead of trying to judge me from something you guess.

CBDs are great for relieving physical pain as well.

Heroin and co caine aren't completely natural like marijuana is. You can't take them straight from the plant and use them. Marijuana can be picked straight from the plant and ingested/ smoked whatever you want to do with it, straight away or once it's dried.

Who is anyone to tell anyone, that as a human being, that one cannot use what nature has provided us with. Why can a human being not grow a plant and do what they please with it?

It will never be legal here in the UK, well not in my lifetime anyway...

From a trusted source from a mental hospital worker :
Mari is actually the most common reason for people to fall into problematic mental conditions.

Also from personnal experience, I would be quite surprised if THC would help against schizophrenia. I'm pretty sure it's the other way around.

Of course, these people are probably proned to have mental diseases but still, being the 'gateway' to other stronger drugs is probably the most important factor in being the most common drug which makes people first ''visit'' the facility.

I'm all open to make it legal although, it's just a plant after all. People should be able to do whatever they wish if it doesn't hurt no one else.

Aine in form of energetic tea from the leaves is pretty common in some areas of the world.

Fair comment, but when people speak of co caine they generally think of the white stuff. I don't see many people in nightclubs rushing off to the toilets to chew on leaves.

And I highly doubt you would see a spike in use if you were to decriminalize them. If people want to try it...they already have and no law will stop them...ever.

Exactly. Also, your comment about religious dogma is also legit.

There has been NO "spike" of use in Colorado - but LOTS of tax money has been generated. Like with casinos/lotteries, only more fun.

What "trusted source" is that, please?

No. It is not. From a credentialed mental health worker and experienced person exposed to the effects (myself).

Correct. The heroin and coc aine on the streets is polluted with god-knows-what to "cut" it.

I was a substance abuse counselor for a few years. The underlying problem is not "drug use" in most cases (with the exception of meth and crack and other synthetic products like PCP...). It is mental and/or emotional discomfort. There are NO "happy" street drug addicts....but there ARE happy, productive, recreational and medicinal users of mj.

being the 'gateway'

No. It isn't the 'gateway'.

That's like saying that since murderers in prison all ate french fries at one time in their lives, the french fries are to blame for the person's actions.

Please, educate yourself. Don't take your 'trusted mental hospital worker's' perceptions of it.

Well, french fries are the gateway to wanting poutine for example.
Swimming is the gateway to jet-skiing.
Climbing trees is the gateway to climbing rocks.

Unless it's people living in ghettos, Mari and alcohol are the easiest ways to get their first buzz. There is no doubt that people that like getting high/drunk might want to try something harder.

So I stand in saying that it is undeniably a gateway to other drugs.

I'm really not liking you attitude here...
Don't make holier than thou assumptions when you don't know someone.

I'm not trusting perceptions here, it's counted in their patient statistics.

Gateway ?

Really ? That's where people show their lack of education on the subject.

The ONLY reason it could be a "Gateway" is because unscrupulous drug dealers sell it.

It's a flower People, it helps many many people. To keep it illegal is cruel.

Now, off to meet your friends for some fermented fruit....Sheesh

I realize you get it....I just hate the term Gateway.
