Agreed. There is nothing wrong with a strong woman.

Strong women come from all eras, my character (not actress) would be Elizabeth Bennett (personality played by various excellent female actors) in 'Pride and Prejudice'.

That's a frickin toughie. Old comics. New comics. Movies. Am I obfuscating? Hell yeah. This is a tough question. The logical one would be Scarlet Johanson's Black Widow but there's way more from the past. Cripes. Gotta think on this one.

My 1st choice was also Ripley, so I'll go with Sigourney in Ghost Busters.
I wanted to smash the granny out of that

If we're going with action, I like Ripley from Aliens. I also liked Lindsay from The Abyss; c'mon she volunteered to drown as the only possible way she and Bud could both possibly get out of a sinking submersible alive. That's guts ... or stupidity.

I believe Lee Marvin won an award for his roles (plural) in that movie.

Yeah. He got an AA for best supporting actor. He deserved it. He saved the movie. Jane? Bleak.
