68% Black population in Ferguson..56 police officers of which 53 are White.

15 years ago 75% of Ferguson was white. Should we start firing police officers due to changing demographics? Should they lose their jobs because their skin is the wrong color? There's a word for that you know.

And since we're talking numbers, can you provide any stats on how many black people have applied for jobs with the Ferguson police department?

The following is my opinion as a member participating in this discussion.

How could the fact that his first police dept had problems years and years and years ago have anything at all to do with the shooting that recently happened? Shouldn't the facts of the shooting stand on their own? (answer - yes)

His history from a corrupt department is relevant -

1. I can tell you from experience, corrupt agencies don't hire honest people and if they do they don't last long. They like to hire one of their own.

2. This is where he was trained as a young cop. Training tends to instill habits in people they might not even be aware they are doing.

3. There problem with the force was so bad the ENTIRE department was fired. This means they didn't think it was just management or a few bad cops but the ENTIRE department. It was small enough they could have just kept the honest cops. It's tough to fire cops and if he was so good and innocent why didn't he reapply or try to fight his firing?

4. Part of the facts of the shooting will be the state of mind of Wilson. If he had a past history of discrimination it would go to his state of mind. extra DIV

Cops don't shoot warning shots...
Where are you going to shoot said warning shot? In the air?

I'm saying you guys can't find any dirt to dig up on Wilson, so you're switching to guilty by association tactics instead. Maybe we should start looking at the records of Brown's associates as well.

You know damn well that his associates and even brown are already having their 'dirt' dug up.
What have you been living under a rock?
Even if he was the lone good cop that didn't deserve the rap, he was still trained by these cops at the start of his career, you know the most impressionable time.

Is it not going further to display the police corruption that this country faces?
