Is there anyway that you can minimise a full screen game to desktop, and keep it running while you access another programme?
My husband plays COD online while signed into roger wilco, but every now and then he loses connection through wilco, and has to quit the game to sort it out.
Any ideas?

You COULD minimize all of your open windows while holding the Windows logo key and pressing "d". That minimizes everything, then open up the Wilco window and do what you need. Resume game by clicking taskbar button.

If you need anything else, I'm always snooping in this forum.

I just use ALT+Tab to switch between running Apps.

thanks for those suggestions, but neither help I'm afraid

windows logo and d do bring up the task bar at the bottom with wilco on it, but don't minimise the game. I click on wilco and nothing happens, so I assume it's open but behind the game screen.
ALT and tab, just perform actions in the game when pressed together.

Hold down Ctrl and Esc that should work. At least it works for me.
