A sexbot is just masturbation, really and nobody thinks vibrators are going to cause armageddon - do they?

I have a video that is amazing I want to share but I forgot how to post videos...it used to be everything after the equal sign...but this one has no equal sign...help?

I really don't think a robot would have any hope trying to bring about any sexual assault charges in my jurisdiction. You certainly could not be done for the "murder" of one, because the test for homicide offences required a "person" to have died unlawfully.

In the US however this might be very different, please consult a registered attorney in your jurisdiction before you engage in any sexual acts with robots.

I'm sure you could adapt one of these sex-robots to function as an attorney, lawyers are not dissimilar to sex-workers.

Whats wrong with that? they could only "think" within the parameters they are designed for--are you worried the "combat skynet option" might get installed in the factory by mistake?

AI in a vibe is actually a really good idea, it would be able to respond dynamically to the reactions of the user. Intelligent dildos could be the potential breakthru technology that could end all wars!!.

Historically, robots have been a net creator of jobs, as they free up humans to work on more interesting things — and invent entirely new sectors to work in.

Which is why there is virtually no unemployment. Oh, wait...

The quoted statement is not so much a lie as a delusion. People who design robots to replace human labor really do believe that humans will be "freed" by losing their jobs. When computers begin to design and program themselves they, too, will be "freed."

Those who imagine (or prefer to tell themselves they imagine) that Women are somehow different to Men regarding sex are wrong.

We are all the same. Without the obvious and superficial differences of gender specific physiology, and cultural and societal conditioning...our wants and desires, our goals and dreams, and our basic operation is almost identical.

Sometimes it beggars belief that some people almost think that Men and Women are two separate species!

We are the same and that sameness extends to every facet of life, most certainly including sex, desire and perversions. (generally speaking of course).

Women will be leaping into bed with a convincing male / female sexbot just as quickly and just as frequently as Men will be...will spice up a flagging marriage for sure, and as a bonus there'll be no insecurity and or jealousy involved in such a tryst.

Kinky sex in the pool, bath or the shower would be electrifying.

I want one. I thought about it before, too. In the future, I bet there will be robots that will look like whomever you want them to, and you won't be able to tell that they are a robot. Many peoples best friends or life partners will; be robots. You want him/her to shut the hell up? Just push a button. That would be nice, in a way. But I want the Shania Twain model. Maybe a Sara Shahi model. I would have to have lots and lots of batteries.

No....not in the near future...but who knows later? If you told a person in the 1800's that we would all have computers (after trying to get them to grasp the CONCEPT of what a computer is) and could chat instantly with people in other countries, they wouldn't believe it! Hell, even TV would blow their minds! So we can't say that someday there will be androids who can think, and possibly have a "conscience". Never say never. It sounds impossible, but there are people trying to figure out how to do this right now.

MysterX, there is a big difference between women and men. Women can get all the sex they want, men, not so much. Men have to initiate a conversation and date, while women get bombarded by flirting and stuff that could be seen as flirting. Women and men are treated very differently and thus have become different. If the sexes were treated the same I doubt the whole sex bot thing would be an issue, many things wouldn't be an issue anymore.

If women were as into sex as men, porn would be romance and end with the most well behaved kids, house and what not.
