It's amazing how ignored this story has been for so many years, considering it's clearly one of the most important UFO sighting/encounter reports in existence, and considering how high profile and credible the witness is, it's possibly THE most important EVER. How is it possible that on THIS supposedly more progress and revolution-oriented site (and in the more often intelligent and articulate way than a certain other site that shall remain nameless) that a story SO huge could be SO forgotten?! Or what's with the gargantuan apathy, if and when the case? Here is an OLD old thread on the topic - one page, 2 flags - from way back in October, '07:

www.abovetopsecret.com...

Moving away from mere "disclosure" and toward CONTACT and PROOF is what it's really all about, whether or not it can happen, at least soon enough. "Disclosure" denotes mere talk, the same old crap of religions and everything else of the existing (secrecy-based) political world - the predictably fluffy hypnotism of the bamboozlers and the legions of bamboozled true believers they snag hook, line and stinker. SSDD (same s*#t different day).

True, the real deal of Contact/proof probably should begin with some kind of disclosure, something that would receive truly proper media attention for the first time ever. (Disclosure should always be spelled with a lower case d, BTW, IMO). It should come from the most highly credible witness possible, and what more credibility could there be than that of an American Presidential candidate - namely one who is known (at least enough so) for being more honest and sincere than the typical politician? I'm speaking of course of Dennis Kucinich and the simply BEYOND mind-boggling sighting/encounter he had at Shirley Maclaine's house in '82. I for one would love to know more about especially the apparently telepathic "mental directions" he received, and/or whatever else truly substantial he could offer.

If only Kucinich could somehow be moved to overcome the infantile popular media (and rank-and-file in general) stigma... Homosexuals, when applicable, aren't the only ones in the closet.

For those who are unfamiliar with the account, just Google "Dennis Kucinich UFO" and check out a few of the top results, though it doesn't go into enough detail, of course.

Come on man, really?
You start a thread with a relatively interesting story, you have no links whatsoever and then you ask us to google it for more information?

Thats not the way it works..

Kucinich is on record as having seen a UFO. I even remember him being lambasted about it during a televised debate for the democratic primaries for which he was running a number of years ago.

However, I have never heard anything about a giant triangle that moved him in his soul and I certainly wouldn't take some random ATS member's word for it. The links do not add up either.

Jimmy Carter claims to have seen one too and that never amounted to anything either (as far as disclosure is concerned) and he was actually elected president.

Not sure what you are getting at here.

That's fair. I know the OP comes off sounding like a blind believer, but I'm really more interested in uncovering the actual unbiased truth. The point is to find out more, to go in depth enough, to rule out, if applicable, a hallucination or perhaps a total lie. Was he intoxicated or otherwise using a drug? Had anything like that experience ever happened before or since the (alleged) event? And there are plenty of other questions a good/real journalist could ask. Lack of photos doesn't automatically rule out its veracity.

I've already said there isn't ENOUGH information available, but here is a link from the aforementioned Google results:

Jimmy Carter never had a personal connection, emotionally-mentally, with the (apparent) craft he and others witnessed. I'm certain Kucinich could offer tremendously more, if it were permissible, sociologically acceptable, or otherwise could happen anyway.

Not sure that his sighting in 1982 at her house would be a credible event. They all had probably dropped some acid.

Am not sure either, but it's important enough (at least to me) to not dismiss outright without anything solid, known, with no speculation. Only if after a truly serious, unbiased and thorough (published) interview that there would still be ambiguity or uncertainty would I be willing to classify it as ONLY an unknown and leave it at that.

The New Normal
- It's ok to support unlimited immigration
- It's normal to be in a gay relationship
-It's the new norm to be a pedophile
- Genocide against Palestine's is the way to go
- But a false flag chemical attack in Syria is a moral outrage but covertly supporting ISIS who slaughters thousands of innocent civilians is morally acceptable
- Invading Iraq because it has WMD's is bringing democracy to a dictatorial regime but killing a million civilians in the process makes it a moral victory

Unacceptable

To be in a universe with billions of star systems and believe that there are other intelligences who might just visit this planet. Outrageous and ridiculous

i thought it was during one of the early presidential debates for the Democratic party. As for his response he stated he saw a UFO but I thought he clarified it by stating seeing something in the air and being unable to identify it makes it a UFO and not necessarily ET.
