Good to hear he didn't have to kill him to prevent the burglary, and he could have while he was in the home. Looks like he might have tried based on the picture of the car, but that broken window could be unrelated, didn't see anything in the article mentioning it.

I can understand that. Lol

A man was attempting to break into a home. The mother heard a strange noise and went to investigate. She found a broken window and alerted her son who confronted the hammer wielding burglar with a firearm. The guy took off and tried to run over the son while escaping. Later police caught up to him and arrested him for felony burglary.

It is really too bad stories like this are considered few and far between when in reality they happen thousands of time a day. Good to hear none of the victims were injured.
