It had to happen sooner or later.

Well...Here it is.

variety.com...
The episode, airing Sept. 28 and fittingly titled “The Simpsons Guy,” has the Griffins accidentally ending up in Springfield, where Peter Griffin makes the acute observation that “everyone around here looks like they have hepatitis.”

Chicken Fight included.

And a bonus..."Throwing more to the animation fans, Bob of “Bob’s Burgers” also makes an appearance."

I know this is bread and circus but...I'm ok with this one. lol

Without in-screen:

Peace

Really, Variety? The "acute observation"? Acute??

*sigh*

I haven't seen either show in a while either, but I will try to check this out.

Thanks for the post!

Not a Family Guy fan in the slightest.

I hate those Chicken-fight scenes. They are just filler, an easy way out to kill some time.

I won't be watching this.

The Simpsons crew sent flowers to the South Park studios when South Park trashed Family Guy in the season 10.

So they've gone the "lets be friends" route. They hoped Family guy would kick the bucket like most series but it is still ongoing since 1999 so they thought it's best to do a crossover since it looks like they're in it for the long run.

I didn't think I'd ever see the day that "The Simpsons" and "Family Guy" would ever do an episode together. I love the subtle dig of Family Guy being a ripoff of "The Simpsons with the beer analogy. I also loved the "Lee Keybum" phone prank by Bart. LOL! ""The Simpsons" is still the best. Over twenty years and counting. Long Live "The Simpsons"!

Ever see the South Park / Simpsons episode? Both Cartman and Bart were trying to get Family Guy off the air. I still love the episode's idea of how references get put into FG episodes...(manatees in a tank throw out balls printed with pop culture references).

Kinda feel both these shows ran out of fuel years ago.

It's a shame King of the Hill was cancelled, it was still going strong!
