Because Ebola spreads via bodily fluids between humans, frontline health care workers have always been the most exposed and the most prone to infection. US hospitals might have a few more air conditioned HazMat suits at their disposal, but probably not enough to make much of a difference. And given our hospitals' commitment to the bottom line and track record with turning hospital-acquired disease into community-acquired nightmares, I am not so confident as you about our ability to contain any disease including Ebola.

FYI - Experience has shown that the most effective way to stop Ebola epidemics is to close the hospitals. Go figure.
