All four men were members of the city’s Protestant Christian community who were snatched after attending a church service last month, officials said.

Mass grave uncovered in Ukraine

It's one of the first mass graves uncovered in reclaimed from separatists land. There are people missing during months of separatist control. The fate of some is recently uncovered.

The men were kidnapped on 8 June as they came out from Sunday worship, and were never seen again. All four were married. One had four children, while another had eight.

Isn't it sad to know that humanity still hasn't learned from our past. We're still uncivilized and resort to killing one another for control and power. Humanity really isn't worthy of living on this beautiful planet.

*Mass grave uncovered in Israel

Let's commit some war crimes,
We'll set fire to earth,
Right after we hide you in dirt,
We'll bomb the UN shelter,
Then play Helter Skelter,
Drag your corpse from the rubble
I hope we don't get in trouble,
Here comes the media trolls,
All on our payroll,
Killing fields no doubt,
Bury you in grout,
Or send you swimming with the trouts,
We've reached the end of the road... Oh well

This is about Ukraine.

You don't say?
It fits either way.
Because at the end of the day.
Both are here to stay.

I see you like to rhyme.
Perhaps you have too much time.
You should utilize your time.
Try to earn a dime.

This is a "crime" and should be handled as a crime, not as a war crime ... war tribunal are political, and a crime as this one should be "investigated" properly, as to who and why. This isn't a "mass grave" of hundreds, that are randomly picked ...

Keep this on a logical and civil manner, don't "create" scenarios ... we all know the Ukranian government killed over 260 people (civilians). So a blame game isn't appropriate ...

Shades of Babi Yar. A whole discussion in and of itself and very haunting considering what's going on (again) today.

I would say a grave of near 50-100 is a mass grave. A grave for 4 is just a convenience.

If you read the article in the OP it states there were up to 20 bodies uncovered in the grave. I would say that's a little more cynical than a convenience factor.

It's a developing situation, and not the first grave, and may be not the last. Earlier there were found remains of two priests and their sons that were tortured and killed.

Virtually all Christian denominations other than the Russian Orthodox Church have been subject to levels of harassment, threats, kidnapping, torture, and violence.

History lessons are often forgotten, sometimes on purpose or for political convenience. There definitely are non trivial parallels in history.
