Jon Stewart Learns What Happens When You Criticize Israel

If I didn't find this so disturbing, it would be sad. Or is it the other way around? Or are we to laugh at it? Not sure.

What I can say is that it is truly a sign of what we have become if this is entertainment on the heels of so many deaths and atrocities. At another time I might find this slightly amusing. But not right now.

I thought it to be pretty funny, in all honesty.

Sure, there is a war waging in Gaza right now, but it is essential that one is able to detach them-self from reality and just have a laugh. It may be insensitive in light of the recent actions in Gaza, but the sketch itself is genius and hits a note on just how some on the pro-Israel side act.

I don't have a problem with it, but i can see why some would.

Jon Stewart frequently bashes Israel. It’s one of his “things”. Another of his things is scoring dishonest political points using comedy and then defending against the backlash by just claiming that he’s joking. Or that he’s the “centrist” being beset by extremists on both sides.

This all stems from his criticism of Israel in last week's show, Mark Levin went off on his show about Jon calling him a self hating Jew and criticized him changing his name.

Why can't Jon Stewart get his opinion across without swearing.

Interestingly enough, controversial satire like this, which crosses over the boundary of political correctness, is actually more effective in 'waking people up' to whats happening in this twisted world we live in... as compared to factual evidence and logical reasoning...

At least there's is something there to appeal to the ADD generation, which now seems to be the vast majority.
