Well lets see here...

The old man is God.

The little kid is a human being being set free on earth.
Had a great adventure living on earth. Then at some point he died, (I got bruised he says) and came back to God who asked him how his adventure was.

And this is what I like about this cartoon, God, is happy. Happy to see his kid return, and everyone is invited for dinner, because God loves all of his children. Therefor EVERYONE is coming to dinner.

The point was that life is a playground and school, and we are living it, and when we die, and return to where we came from, there is joy happiness and celebration.

The creator wants to know what we did, not to Judge, but to learn about our experience here and what we learned.

That is what I got out of it.

It was a nice rounded message.

Not everyone...only about 500 million out of 7 billion. Maybe less. Everyone else gets shuffled off to do a different kind of cookout.

I do not, I believe that the creator loves everyone, unconditionally.

You can do bad things, and there are consequences for them,(I believe in karma too)
however, I do not believe that anyone is tossed out.

But then people get hung up on labels when you say "God".

I dunno, I can't speak for the universe, only for myself.

I do know thought that there are things out there that do pay attention to what we do,
and they do intervene once and a while.

Are they divine?

'Divine' means nothing to me. An ant views a dog as a vast entity beyond comprehension, and we view dogs as simple creatures who slobber and eat their own poop. What is divine to you is mundane somewhere else, perhaps even basic.

Some people are too busy trying to hurt others or taking everything through greed rather than to a break in the Kingdom of Peace for dinner.

The door is always there though.

The peace in that fantasy heaven won't last to long, but in the True Heaven there is Life Everlasting, with Joy, Love, and peace.
