Operation GlassHouse Tricks Autistic Kid Into Selling Drugs

Here's a story that will hit you right in the feels. Local law enforcement target kids in a 21 jump street style bust but the targets are loners and social outcasts, not drug kingpins. One Kid, Jesse Snodgrass, received 2 felony counts for .6 grams of marijuana and portrayed as a kingpin on local media.

On December 11, 2012, 17-year-old Jesse Snodgrass and a few of his fellow students were sitting in their classes in Chaparral High School in Riverside County, California, when they were arrested by armed cops. That raid, dubbed “Operation Glasshouse,” also extended to other schools in the district. At the end of that day, police had arrested 22 students and seized undisclosed amounts of weed, coc aine, pills, heroin, and '___'. The police considered it a great success. Meanwhile, actual real life drug dealers merrily practice their trade unhindered for the most part.

Indeed. Had this been a legitimate drug ring, the local law enforcement would never have entered the building. And if they had, they would never have left it. Not alive, anyway.

Why bother with apprehending actual criminals when there's feckless high school students to entrap? Meanwhile, cops pretend there's a violent life-and-death struggle on the mean streets of every town and city — but yet, law enforcement isn't even in the top 10 most dangerous professions.

We need to demand our taxpayer resources be used to prosecute ACTUAL CRIMINALS and not kids with a little bit of weed.

This is how 99 percent of criminals are made, even at the federal level.
Give the "idiots" the materials they need...after putting the idea into said "idiots" head.
Then the cops jump the unsuspecting "idiot" and claim they have saved the world from (insert word).
But a kingpin with .6 grams???
You can't deal effectively with 6. grams...

This kid could have smoked marijuana every day for the rest of his life and it wouldn't have caused him nearly as much harm as these "public servants" did in a few short days.

They aren't really interested in the real "bad guys". Just in making money from kids who are set up and small time offenders.

That's why DUI fines are heftier than rape and assault charges.

This is all about statistics.

A bust is a bust. Its just that the busts you manufacture by tricking mentally disabled and autistic kids into criminal behavior is so much easier. And the sharp spike in arrests? That will help get more of that federal cheddar, like the APC's and drones.

Scale this up a bit and you have what amounts to the FBI's "terrorist" investigations (where they trick unwitting and dimwitted teens to go along with a bombing plot).

Entrapment used to be illegal.
