Bush to nominate Bernard Kerik as Homeland Security Cheif (from ATSNN)

Breaking news on CNN. Bush is poised to nominate former New York police commisioner Bernard Kerik as the new Homeland Security Cheif, replacing Tom Ridge who submitted his resignation earlier this week



I don't know much about Mr. Kerik, and have not heard his name as a rumoured successor. Perhaps this is a favour to good friend Juliani?
